22.01.2022 NEW PLAYGROUND FOR MORISSET // This week a Brand New Lake Macquarie City Council Playground was opened in Morisset! Our Kindergarten students were lucky enough to test it out today and had the best time! A big Thank you to Cr Kay Fraser - Lake Macquarie Mayor for providing this space for the Morisset community to connect and socialise. 15.01.2022 CONGRATULATIONS JETHRO // This week several Mathematics awards were handed out at Primary Assembly for the Newcastle Permanent Primary Mathematics Competition. Jethro McEwan was awarded the Overall Year 6 Award for Lake Macquarie region. Well Done to all these students!

14.01.2022 FINAL TRANSITION CLASS // Last week we finished our 2020 Transition Class! We can't wait to welcome these students into our Kindergarten class in 2021!

10.01.2022 KINDERGARTEN // Kindergarten have been working on reading and clapping this musical rhythm. Today we made instruments so that we could vary the timbre of our sounds!

09.01.2022 THEME OF THE WEEK // TOLERANCE Therefore welcome one another as Christ has welcomed you, for the glory of God. Romans 15:7 During his lifetime Jesus Christ was surrounded by intolerance. Jews and Samaritans in particular hated one another. Women were treated as inferior to men. And Jewish religious leaders thought they were above the common people. Jesus Christ stood out as vastly different. Jesus was kind, patient, and tolerant because he came, not to judge people, but to heal them spiritually. Love was his primary motivation. Love is the key to becoming more tolerant, it opens our hearts to others, despite their imperfections and idiosyncrasies.

05.01.2022 "CAN" YOU HELP? // Southlake's Incorporated does a wonderful job of feeding the homeless and other families who are struggling. At the moment they are in need of supplies such as spaghetti, long life milk, soup, tinned fruit and vegetables to replenish their stock. From now until the end of the year we will be having a Food Drive at HCLM. Last drop off date is Thursday 10th December.
