25.01.2022 After days of searching across Botswana and South Africa, we have found the perfect truck for our donation road trip. The truck is fully loaded with condoms and now officially part of the HERO team. We want to give the truck a name... Any suggestions?

24.01.2022 Botswana distribution trip 2017 was a massive success! Whether we were at the mines, small villages, hospitals, clinics, etc.. everyone was very excited to receive free HERO condoms! It truly was an unforgettable adventure filled with great experiences and so many amazing people wanting to do good and keep sex safe. A big thanks to everyone involved and Jeff the truck for leading the way! #SafesexSavesLifes

23.01.2022 Next stops were the Letlhakane Primary hospital and the most prominent HIV testing center (Tebelopelo ) in the area ; both which were out of condoms , despite being the resident’s first point of contact for condom supply. With Jeff’s help, both facilities are now stocked up with heaps of HERO condoms

12.01.2022 Jeff lead the HERO team to the Orapa mine . Mining towns are often most affected by HIV, and the HIV prevalence can reach 50%. Orapa has a population of 18,000 people. So HERO gave over 216,000 condoms. Enough for each worker to have a dozen condoms

07.01.2022 Northern Botswana definitely took a bit longer due to us driving slower and yelling Elephant!! Giraffe! and Pumba!! every 15 min On a more serious note, we discovered some very concerning issues as we stopped at various remote truck stops and check points. Due to an array of challenges, truck drivers are often left waiting at borders and truck stops for weeks on end, and the main sources of entertainment appeared to be alcohol and unregulated sex workers. This coupled with a lack of condoms available is not a healthy situation and a large contributing factor in the spread of HIV. On the bright side, Jeff stocked up the truck stops with heaps of HERO condoms
