11.01.2022 We welcome Gina to our Practice ! Dr Gina Irwin attended the University of Queensland where she achieved her Bachelor of Dental Science (Hons 1) in 1999. Gina worked as a dentist in Chinchilla for 18 years before relocating to Toowoomba in 2019 with her husband and three children. She loves Toowoomba for the fantastic schooling and lifestyle opportunities available and the gardens and climate. Dr Gina has an interest in all aspects of general dentistry, in particular orthodon...tics, endodontics and oral surgery. She believes dentistry should have a strong preventative focus and be delivered in a respectful, caring and gentle manner. She values the importance of constantly continuing to learn and improve her skills to provide the best treatment available today. Gina looks forward to developing strong long term bonds with her patients so they trust her to keep their mouth happy and healthy for years to come. When not at work, Gina’s favourite activities include film and art, music festivals, bush walking, swimming, gardening projects, cooking, and spending quality time with her family, friends and two cute pugs.

08.01.2022 UPDATED Monday 27th April 2020: Following guidance from the Australian Health Protection Principal Committee (AHPPC) and the Federal Australian Dental Association (ADA) we can resume routine and planned treatment from today. We will take some extra precautions in treating you and must exercise care with procedures that generate aerosols such as fillings and cleans.... We can still do most work for you, but may need to use a rubber dam on the teeth we're fixing to keep aerosol sprays down.

08.01.2022 FROM MONDAY 11th MAY: We are officially back to Level 1. Hooray!... The main difference to seeing us now is we ask our patients to stay in their car (outdoor waiting room). We'll come and get you. We will also give you a 30 second mouth rinse before we look in your mouth. If you've been unwell please tell us. Things are getting better !

07.01.2022 * We are able to treat you if you have pain, swelling or toothache. * Your medical history will be completed over the phone or by email before your appointment. * Please stay in your car once you arrive and call us to let us know you are here. * We will come to your car and get you. We will place a squirt of MicroShield hand wash in your hands and ask you not to touch anything if possible after then. * We will give you a mask to wear from then on.... * We will walk you from your car straight into the surgery. Please leave your mask on when in the building. * We will take your temperature. * Clinical discussion will happen while you still have your mask on. * Once ready, the dentist will ask you to remove the mask and do a pre-clinical rinse * After procedure, please replace the mask, reapply hand sanitiser and exit into the reception area * Once you leave the building the next patient will be allowed to enter. 07.01.2022 All Dentists in the Darling Downs region have been advised to stop seeing patients immediately by the Darling Downs Hospital and Health Service (DDHHS) and Dr Duncan Campbell, local Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon, due to the threat to our community posed by COVID-19. Our receptionists will answer your call during regular hours (Mon-Fri 8am to 5pm) and where needed can contact one of our dentists for further advice. We are able to prescribe pain killers and antibiotics as ne...cessary, but under current protocols are prevented from treating patients without extensive infection control measures deemed necessary for the protection of patients and operators alike. General Dentists do not have access to the required equipment at this time. I hope that we can return to our regular way of life soon !

07.01.2022 Still smiling. Get well soon Ella.
