25.01.2022 Annastacia Palaszczuk MP was in town today to see our amazing new wedding chapel in the Hervey Bay Botanic Gardens. The first wedding ceremony will be held ther...e this weekend! The new chapel is built on a slightly raised deck, great for brides with flowing dresses or trains. New lighting will help showcase the beautiful surroundings and coloured lighting at the entrance can be changed to suit the wedding theme. The new facility, designed by local architects and built by local builders, is wheel-chair accessible and can be used for other events. Bookings can be made by calling Council on 1300 79 49 29. The Wedding Chapel renovation project is a joint initiative of the Fraser Coast Regional Council and the Queensland Government.
