18.01.2022 How to avoid being a hypocrite- 1.Find a way to daily live in the power and freedom of Jesus Christ. 2.Change how you talk about yourself and others. Add in more honesty and humility.

17.01.2022 From Pastor Ray: Here’s a snap survey. Will the church of Jesus be better off or worse off after COVID?. Did you find that hard to answer? If you took more than a second to answer the survey then, I suspect that you just had a conversation with yourself.... Your head probably said one thing and your heart probably said another. My head looks at the data and sees the statistics in the western church on the number of people that have made up their minds not to come back to church. It’s between 25-50%. That’s shocking. How can any good come from that? But, my heart looks with faith to remind myself that Jesus is building His church and will help us to meet the times we live in. He has always built His church and the gates of hell will never prevail against it. (Matthew 16:18). That deepens my faith. That gives me hope. So how do we go forward on this? Firstly, let’s acknowledge that things seem ambiguous right now. It’s because we are all (at the same time) grieving the loss of the social fabric that we once knew. Allow yourself to grieve over this. Allow others the grace and space to grieve over this. Secondly, never lose hope and faith. Jesus reminds us in John 16:33, In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world. Thirdly, keep doing the things you know to be right. Keep pressing on. Allow this crisis to reveal the areas that the Holy Spirit wants to change or strengthen. Keep in step with the Spirit and find supernatural joy as you do this. Remember, God has got this. God has got you. No matter how you feel right now. Oh and by the way I would love to hear your thoughts on the snap survey. Please feel free to comment on this post.
