These cattle have grazed the ...summer pastures of the High Plains. Now, before the first snowfalls, theyre heading back to the lower country. Theyre mustered and moved each year in late autumn. 04.01.2022 Wednesday 300 rainbow trout were put in the wetlands for the beginning of school holidays. They range in size from 150g to 200g. Brooke Coonrod delivered the trout from Snobs Creek hatchery, Heyfield being one of three places in Gippsland today being stocked with the fish. Fishing regulations apply at the wetlands. Under 18, pensioners and people with concession cards do not have to have a license.
