13.01.2022 COVID-19 is taking a toll on busineses and charities. Today I was pleased to provide Foodbank WA with more than 300 muffins from the local Muffin Break Belmont.... Tomorrow Foodbank WA are hosting a drive-in donation event to collect crucial supplies so that they can continue to provide for disadvantaged Western Australians. Please consider coming along and making a donation, details for the event can be accessed here: https://www.facebook.com//a.37296227279/2932430040183522/

12.01.2022 This year, we announced that we've started the process of securing a new State women's hospital at the QEII site in Nedlands - fantastic news for WA! Kind Edwar...d Memorial Hospital has served us proudly for generations, but now it's time to plan for the next century - and that's what we're doing. We also announced that we'll be directing $230 million from a settlement from BHP and 65% of TAB sale funds towards building the new hospital.

12.01.2022 If the funding was justified before what has changed to make it redundant? https://mobile.abc.net.au//wesnet-domestic-viole/11779728

11.01.2022 HAPPY INTERNATIONAL WOMEN'S DAY. I want to shout out to one very special international women. María Isabel García Lima (Isabel). A lot of you would have met her with me. While studying at Curtin Isabel interned for Hi-Vis Women. As it happens when you work with someone who is always on time, always does what they say they will get done and anticipates your needs, Isabel became invaluable to me. So much so that she is still volunteering after she returned to Mexico and she makes my life so much easier so THANK YOU Isabel for your never-ending support and friendship, you inspire me. #hiviswomenaustralia #mentoring #virtualassistant #grateful #iwd2020

04.01.2022 Never a better time for a change of career and Hi-Vis jobs, all with career paths are worth investigating.

04.01.2022 The most powerful mentoring comes from a place of empathy There has never been a better culture to invite, include and invest in for a career in construction as natural career choice regardless of gender. There are still bullies and predators in every marketplace but in terms of the Construction Industry in Western Australia, we have never been better positioned to ensure when we invite young women and men into our industry we have real solutions to make sure everyone is safe... physically and emotionally. Current Hi-Vis Women have achieved and overcome the challenges of working in a male-dominated industry and we have stories to share to help inform and empower young women and provide an authentic mentoring experience that can only come from women who have already walked in their shoes. We are organising workshops to talk about the difference between gaslighting and bullying and ways to resolve both. Message me if you are interested and especially if you have a story to share as a learning experience Linda
