23.01.2022 As those that follow us know we don't own a farm. We lease properties with the dream to move to our own farm one day. With our friend Sam Marwood we have created Cultivate Farms to make the farming dream a reality for us and other aspiring farmers. Thanks to everyone who contributed to this article.

12.01.2022 I've been pretty quiet on this page for some time. After the silence I didn't know how to kick things off again. I don't like logging on and selling all the time but prefer to let you know more about us. . . . Last year we had a big move for all our cattle. This year it was our turn. We have moved from our first family home, "The Ranch".... It was a tough move because we always thought when we left this rough little shack we would be moving to our own farm. We didn't. We have relocated to a farm house on a property at Table Top. We have more room and everyone is happy especially the little Hicks'. Capture by Karen

11.01.2022 We sell our Beef in Eighths, Quarters and Sides. It's best for us as small producers and ensures everything is used. Troy @ Howlong Butchers has been a great support and is stocking our Beef in his shop so now you can buy single cuts. Just like these delicious Rib Eye Steaks a premium cut and one not available in our Eighths and Quarter Packs.... Thanks Troy for being a top bloke and a great butcher.

11.01.2022 This is cool. Today at the Albury show cattle comp. I bumped into my old ag teacher from Finely High. Back then 1986, year 7, Miss Cowell was a 22 year old fresh out of collage teacher. We were little brats, 32 years on Mrs O'Leary (Miss Cowell) is still at Finely and doing a great Job. Finely won most successful exhibitor. Fantastic to catch with my old mates. Thanks Finley High School students and teachers. Your still rocking it

We took on a lease of 1,000 acers. We knew it would only be for a short term as the land is to be developed. 07.01.2022 We couldn't produce premium beef without a premium Butcher. We work with Troy and the team at Howlong Butchers to produce the final product for you. Troy also stocks our locally produced grass fed beef in store and has a full selection of Hicks Country Beef on offer.

07.01.2022 Check out the view. . . This photo was taken the first time we visited this block. Tim and I were both amazed standing on top of this hill. It took 10 minutes for Tim to lift his gaze from the grass and notice the fantastic view that I had been enjoying. Great ground cover and a great view. - We're both happy.
