25.01.2022 The 2021 season officially kicks off next week as the Eagles head back to training in preparation for a big season and a few trials that are coming up. Trainings will be every Tuesday and Friday at 6:30pm and extras sessions every Saturday morning. If you need any further information or need any questions answered, feel free to contact us. 25.01.2022 What a great way to spend Father’s Day 2020! The Highfields Eagles headed to Miles for a wonderful weekend of 9 a side footy which was capped off with a competition win for our club. After a strong first day of play, both our Young-Gun team and A-Grade team managed to finish top 4 and funnily enough would square off first thing Sunday morning in the Grand Final qualifier. This is a great accomplishment for the club and we’d like to say a big congratulations to all the players..., staff and particular the Miles And District Rugby League Football Club who sacrificed a special weekend to bring a little footy to our lives. With that said, we must say full credit to the boys and their effort this weekend, from creating special bonds (Ben Moore), taking this opportunity head-on (Darcy Maroske), and particularly staying ‘locked-in’ all weekend (Samual Elara). Congratulations Cory McGrady on receiving Player of the Tournament, and once again, cheers for the weekend legends and keen to get back into footy next year! See more

24.01.2022 This weekend, Saturday the 6th of February, Highfields will be hosting trial games for the bout between the Western Mustangs and Ipswich Jets. There will be 2 games played, which are both U’18 squads, the first game being kicked off at 3:00pm and the second at 4:30pm. Again, there will be no U’21 games played. Entry into the venue will be free, but please adhere to any COVID restrictions or rules that are in place. The bar and canteen will also be open, so on behalf of the Eagles, we are keen to see a good turn out to come help support our local Mustang boys

11.01.2022 Another one of our loyal sponsors, The Southern Hotel, are great supporters of the Highfields Eagles and help this club out so much during the season. The Eagles love heading back to this great venue after away games, and we’d love to show support back to them by helping promote their new range of take away offers.

07.01.2022 This Thursday night, the Eagles will kickoff their 2021 preseason training at Kuhls Rd Oval. There will be one field session each week that starts at 6:30 pm, and will be held on alternating Thursdays and Fridays. Premier Conditioning will also be hosting Saturday morning sessions from 7:00 am. More will be discussed at training. Leading into Christmas, these sessions will be a great advantage for the Highfields Eagles as we gear up for what we know will be a big 2021!

07.01.2022 The Highfields Eagles Annual General Meeting is coming up on Thursday the 29th of October and should see plenty in attendance as all positions are available. 05.01.2022 Good afternoon everyone. As you may have heard, after months of speculation about the commencement of the 2020 TRL season, the TRL and the affiliated clubs have decided to cancel this years competition. For all you die hard footy fans, this is obviously very disappointing for us all; however, we fully respect the work put in by the TRL and QRL who’ve explored many options in trying to get footy back up and running. Taking into account the restrictions of accessing licensed v...enues, the Eagles will try to commence a number of fundraising events in order to leave the club in a healthy position leading into 2021. So if you have any suggestions, it would be truly appreciated! Also, please continue to support our valued sponsors and wear our Eagles apparel with pride! With that said, all we can do now is look forward to the future and preparations of next years season, and hope the Eagles family can bring even more keen energy next year! At least the NRL is back Thank you guys.

03.01.2022 Great news from one of our great local sponsors, the Highfields Tavern is back up and running. Operating under the government approved Covid Safe Plan, the team at the Tavern welcome everyone back as we slowly re-enter normality. With that said, trading hours and regulations are as follows: Open 11am-9pm Monday - Wednesday & 11am-11pm Thursday - Sunday. Food is available all day 11.30am-8.30pm including takeaway Pokies not on but Self service TAB & KENO is available... The Tavern can accommodate a total of 120 people in the entire facility at one time and the Sports Bar and Bistro areas will have defined pods of 20 around the venue for social distancing requirements. 02.01.2022 This coming Sunday, the 19th of July, the Highfields Eagles are commencing our first Major Fundraiser of the year where we will be drawing the much anticipated Money Board.
