Yes,..so few, who quite definitely, are a very special and committed group protecting the wider community. THANK YOU.

20.01.2022 2015 is drawing to a close, and a New Year dawns. Many thanks to our wonderful 2015 team. Your enthusiasm, work and input have made sure our guests enjoy a wonderful experience at Tasmania's Geographical Centre. We sadly farewell our exceptional team member, Irene who has been with us since the beginning. Irene will be greatly missed.. Our loss is her grandchildrens' joy. Thanking and wishing all our guests a healthy and Happy New Year

17.01.2022 Free Guided Tours of Tungatinah Power Station tomorrow, Saturday 10 October, between 10am and 2pm. Long sleeved shirts, long trousers and enclosed shoes are required. Tours depart from outside Hydro 100 Years Exhibit adjacent to booking office at Tarraleah. A great chance to see the inner workings of hydro power generation. The road from the Lyell Highway to just past Bronte Park General Store is now open. Thank you to our dedicated and selfless protectors. Thinking of everyone in other areas of Tasmania with Emergency fire levels.

05.01.2022 The RAP boys descended on Bronte Park for A Clean Up The Highway activity. Thank you Andy, Ron and Paul for such a great effort that has made a positive difference to this Central Highlands location. A trailer load of rubbish was collected over a 3.5km distance by the RAP boys.

05.01.2022 A sad day for the Bronte Park Community today with a major fire at the Bronte Park Chalet /Pub, also called Bronte Park Lodge. Thankfully, all are accounted for.

05.01.2022 This weekend all roads lead to the Highlands Second Bushfest at the Bothwell Recreation Ground. Come along and check out what makes the Central Highlands of Tasmania so special.
