23.01.2022 Its lovely when people come as a birthday surprise or as a cool thing to do as a couple. It’s an awesome experience for everyone.

23.01.2022 This afternoon one of my resident platypus turned up on cue. At the end of my farm tour we were standing on the deck at the dam and I was saying the platypus come out of the river and into my dam and then we noticed a platypus swimming straight towards us as we talked. It was such a special moment.

23.01.2022 My 4 day old silky chicks were given lesson in how to search for food today.

23.01.2022 There some days you just don’t want to get out of bed and your just happy to lay back and be pampered.

22.01.2022 Mum offers camouflage for her chicks. Can you see 4 little ones in the first photo?

22.01.2022 The upside of a little bit of rain when giving a farm tour, is the lovely soft light and beautiful rainbows.

22.01.2022 The reflections on the dam this afternoon were so beautiful.

22.01.2022 Thank you Lexi, for taking this photo of me yesterday, as I had my hands full giving Ginger and Honey the attention they were demanding. They both love being brushed under the chin.

20.01.2022 We had another lovely day on the farm, holding the chicks, feeding the alpacas and cuddling and brushing my Highlands. My animals are very spoilt sweethearts.

19.01.2022 My calves had stage one of their halter training today thanks to Lizz & Steph. Mikayla was a star student, Rose was pretty good and received her first really good brushing. Poppy was settled down reasonably well, while little Bianca was a bit of a slow learner and Adele behaved like it was a rodeo, so we’ll try again another time. I’m told they did really well.

18.01.2022 Bianca has been creeping closer each day for a quick fringe brush. She’ll be like her sisters soon demanding plenty of attention.

18.01.2022 I love this image of Macy, her highlights make her look so beautiful. She’s a very pampered teenager.

18.01.2022 According to one of my guests, my farm tours are like being at Jurassic Park.

17.01.2022 Oh I do love sharing these gorgeous creatures and I definitely appreciate the help keeping them well groomed.

16.01.2022 I love Oliver’s fringe but I’m steering clear of his horns.

14.01.2022 Farm tours really are very heart warming, seeing the pleasure of my animals and my guests as well. I love sharing these beautiful creatures with everyone.

14.01.2022 When you put a super chilled out Highland bull over some good natured Highland cows, you get some even more chilled out calves who are more than happy to present themselves for some pampering.

12.01.2022 It’s sweet how chilled out and comfortable my Highlands are with my farm tour guests. They certainly love the attention. (Turn the sound on to here Megan’s delight at brushing Macy, it’s very cute).

12.01.2022 Such a beautiful spring day, and lots of pampering.

12.01.2022 Poppy loves being scratched around her ears and horns.

12.01.2022 Every day is special, giving my guests a unique farm stay experience. The calmness and trust, all round is great.

11.01.2022 As the days start to warm up my Highlands are seeking the shade and enjoying their brushing as we help them shed their winter coat.

11.01.2022 I put the girls and calves to work today to eat down the grass along the driveway and on a dirt mound near the house. It’s great watching the mowers at work.

09.01.2022 Did you know a black cow and a white bull gives a dunn calf? The younger calf (Adele) with grow up to look like her gorgeous sister Macy (Macy’s image is courtesy of Lexi from yesterday’s tour).

09.01.2022 Macy’s little sister, Adele looks just like her big sister.

08.01.2022 It’s nice meeting people who have been so excited to come and stay or just do a farm tour. My animals are always happy for another feed or pamper.

08.01.2022 Macy is one very chilled out cow, and very happy to be the centre of attention.

07.01.2022 It might have been a drizzly afternoon but my highlands love it when it’s a little bit damp. Bianca, my youngest calf asked to be brush today and was more than happy to have her fringe combed.

05.01.2022 Oh Sally, your such a smoocher, I don’t think you could get any closer.

05.01.2022 If this is the size of Hamish’s horns at nearly 3 yrs old, it’s going to be amazing how big they will be when he’s 10yrs old. It’s awkward enough ducking from them when we brush him now, as he seems to have no spacial awareness with his horns.

05.01.2022 The photographers who come on a farm tour are getting younger and younger.

04.01.2022 I’m hoping my chicks will enjoy their attention as they grow, so we’re starting while they are little. These are some of my favourite images from yesterday.

04.01.2022 My little farm tour helpers today were very excited. Chicks, alpacas, calves and lovely kids with cheeky smiles.

03.01.2022 Some animals come to you for food, my Highlands come to you when you show them a comb.

03.01.2022 It’s great how my guests are keeping my cows so well groomed. Sometimes while the cows are being brush I’m using a pair of scissors to cut off the matted knots that are under them. It must make them feel so much more comfortable and cooler.

02.01.2022 After an afternoon feeding my alpacas and brushing my demanding Highlands, I asked my guests to test out some new outdoor bean bags for relaxing down at the dam. I’m looking forward to the opportunity to relax in one myself, although I’m not sure when that will be, as there is still far too many jobs on the farm.

02.01.2022 My alpacas enjoy rolling in their hay, as much as they enjoy eating it. Meanwhile the roosters are clever enough to stay clear in case they get rolled on.

01.01.2022 You’ve sometimes got to wonder how Highlands can see with their long fringes. This gorgeous boy is Oliver. He’s soon to turn 5yrs old.

01.01.2022 These are some of the images from today’s farm tours. Every one seemed to be enjoying the experience.

01.01.2022 Watching the calves with their mums is rather sweet.
