22.01.2022 This beautiful Victorian terrace in Balmain is our latest achievement, and what a beautiful home it is. Our clients desired only the best products to provide maximum protection, and so we opted for a Dulux Acratex Acraskin system for the brick walls, this is a silicone membrane coating which allows the coating to expand and contract with temperature, but also provides a waterproof layer. This paint is also 3x Thicker than normal exterior masonry paint. For the wood work, we opted for Dulux Super enamel oil based in High Gloss with 2x oil based primers as preparation. Also the iron work was finished in a Dulux Metalshield Epoxy enamel High Gloss. Once again our guys created another happy client, and 5* Review!

21.01.2022 This 3 story townhouse n Lilyfield was ready for its 1st repaint after being built 12 years ago. Our client is allergic to oil based paints, and has elderly animals around, so we opted for using water based Dulux wash and wear low sheen in 'natural white' for the walls, and Taubmans ultimate enamel in 'white' for the woodwork. Dulux premium ceiling white for the ceilings, and Dulux kitchen and bathroom paint for the wet areas. The Taubmans ultimate enamel paint has the closest finish to an oil based enamel that is possible because of its alkali content, but with no odour. Another satisfied customer, and 5 star review!

20.01.2022 This quaint weatherboard home in Annandale needed a freshen up before either a possible sale, or keep situation much like the tv show 'love it or list it' I personally hope that we have done enough to make the owners stay and fall in love with their wonderful home again!

18.01.2022 COVID-19 Announcement At High Performance Painting & Decorating we are all concerned about COVID-19 and how it will affect our lives and businesses. In this time the health and safety of our clients, our staff, sub contractors and community is our primary concern. We are monitoring the situation and have taken precautions to ensure we can continue to operate our business effectively.... We as a team have been putting the following points into practice to manage the risk of the virus going forward: Regularly washing our hands with soap and water for at least 20 seconds. Or using antibacterial hand sanitiser when washing facilities are not available Avoiding touching our noses, mouths and eyes, and covering coughs and sneezes with a tissue or our elbows Avoiding shaking hands If any employees/sub contractors are showing symptoms of COVID-19 they will be asked to stay at home for the minimum 14 days For High Performance Painting & Decorating going forward it is business as usual. We are not letting this situation alarm us. By practising these techniques, we will go a long way to controlling the situation. 17.01.2022 This interesting 2 bedroom Apartment/Condo is part of a recently converted toy factory in Leichardt. It has been renovated in such a way that champions all of the industrial architecture of the building, and combines it with some state of the art modern features. Our clients desired the fine quality workmanship that we offer, and we delivered this gladly. Our team painted every previously painted surface, plus applied an oil to the beams to seal them in and make them stand out from the crowd. All premium paints were used to prolong longevity, and enable our clients to wipe and dust the paint work with out leaving marks. This project was a real pleasure to work on!

16.01.2022 This Interior had a cracking problem on the walls most probably cause at the time of plastering, and ratio’s being mixed wrong in the product. To remedy this, we had to scrape all of the loose and cracking paint out, apply a sealer binder to the walls, before re plastering, sanding and repainting the whole house. Very pleased with the result here, and another happy client.

15.01.2022 I misplaced the before pictures on this one, but our client here desired to freshen the house up for a sale, and give it street appeal. I think we can all agree that the use of 3 shades of green here have done just that and more! A certain air of calm about the colours on this awesome property on a quiet little street in Glebe.

13.01.2022 The Devil is in the detail with this one, our client picked his own colour scheme, which works perfectly for this beautiful home in Lilyfield. Only the best oil based enamel paints are used on the windows in two tone blue and classic white. These beautiful homes are what painting is all about. Thoroughly enjoyed this one!

13.01.2022 Lots of preparation needed on this one, with a fresh face fill on all wood work due to runs, and als on ceilings due to flaking paint. Our clients opted for vivid white ceilings and wood work, with ‘grey reflection’ on the walls in a washable Matt finish. All walls were filled and then machine sanded to repair many years of old runs and debris. A great outcome and a wonderful pick of colour!

11.01.2022 Our latest project in Rozelle. Our clients haven't painted this home in 15 years, and looked to refresh and protect their home from the elements. They had a clear theme in mind to keep their home in line with nearby greenery, and therefore opted for Dulux 'Bogart' for the main colour, 'linseed' for the window frames and rear fence, and 'namadji' for the doors and trim work. The perfect colour scheme for this home and another satisfied client. We also had help with replacing the timber privacy screen at the front door thanks to Franco Giordano and his excellent craftmanship.

11.01.2022 Our recent project in Concord. Church revamp for our lovely clients. We assisted with the colour choices, and provided the best quality paints to ensure the most longevity possible for our workmanship. An absolute pleasure to be part of this project, which ran on budget, on time and was enjoyable for all involved. Look forward to the next one!

10.01.2022 Further to my last post, this is one of the apartments from the previous building i posted in Petersham. The extent of mould, and water ingress caused by the exterior facade was incredible. To fix this, we scraped off all loose and mouldy paint, De-humidified the whole apartment, applied a watertight primer, filled and feathered in where necessary, applied another watertight primer, and then 2 coats of premium Dulux paint.

08.01.2022 Our latest project in Annandale is an old butchers corner shop converted into a home. Our client wanted to rejuvenate this home and bring back its street appeal. Some tricky access involved with this one so many thanks to our close friends at Altitude.access for the help with all of the difficult access work. Custom paint colours matched, and repainted in premium Dulux Weathershield for masonry, and Dulux Super Enamel high gloss for the windows and doors.

06.01.2022 Another Victorian Terrace in Mort Street, Balmain. These are becoming our forte! We took care of roof restoration, replaced rotten wood, repaired the flaking paint and repainted throughout. Colours are Colorbond Ironstone on the roof, Dulux Tranquil Retreat for the walls, Vivid White Trim, and Dulux Canoe Blue for the front door. Various access measures take to complete this one, with rope access used for the 2 side walls and roof areas. We aim to be a one stop shop for our c...lients, and manage the project from start to finish with high quality workmanship, competitive pricing, minimal intrusion and a can do attitude. This project was finished in 2 weeks! Huge credit to all the team for their achievements on this project.

05.01.2022 Our clients Adam and Josie in Bella Vista wanted to bring a modern appearance their beautiful yet tiring Tasmanian oak Kitchen. We opted for a traditional Brush finish to maximise the classic appeal, yet in keeping with a bright modern colour scheme. Dulux Oil Based Primer, Undercoat and the 2 Topcoats of Antique White U.S.A Applied To all 42 Units plus the Carcasses! All done at a fraction of the price of changing them.

04.01.2022 Steep roof's can be costly, and really awkward to maintain. In this case we returned to finish the roof on this job after we finished the rest of the house. We dealt with the really steep pitch by installing an anchor point on the rear roof, and spray painting via means of rope access. (Abseiling) all for a very reasonable price. This really is the best solution in these beautiful , yet compact suburbs. Much credit to our roof experts, they did an amazing job as always!

03.01.2022 Our latest finished project is this beautiful federation home in Petersham. Our clients had various problems with wood rot, damp, and water ingress from this facade, which we have filled, and painted with care and attention to make sure that there are no gaps around any surface, before heavily applying Dulux Weather-shield and enamels in the colours to match existing. Many obstacles were avoided during this project, including conducting the entire project via footed ladders to avoid heavy cost of putting up scaffolding and isolating power lines. We are thrilled with the end result, and hope to be back in the very near future to undertake other works to this beautiful property.
