25.01.2022 Another quiet day in the towing industry today for me, just a breakdown out at Oakhurst, towed into workshop in town. A nice little early afternoon job. In the morning, I fitted some antennas to the truck, new UHF antenna, new scanner antenna, and new mobile phone antenna, for when I'm in one of those service black spots. With the new mobile antenna, and our new router, soon we will be offering free wi-fi to all our passengers, so you can YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, and any... other internet things you would like to do, while you and your car are being transported, and we can charge most mobile devices as well... 24.01.2022 I've been asked to do a LOT of strange jobs in the time I've been towing, like can you park your truck in my driveway so I can chainsaw some branches off my tree because I don't have a ladder.... putting a hoist in a shed,we need your winch to lift the posts up...but today was a really strange job.... Can you pick up a lounge???? So here we go... strange job, but getting it done. We even move lounge's, not going to be a career change, but just about anything the customer wants, we'll give a go....

22.01.2022 Had a quiet day today, early start to pick up a caravan at Torbanlea, when I had a look at it, it was too dangerous to put on the truck...so the purchaser, after consultation, and upon recommendation, made alternative arrangements. Safety of road users, and my cargo, is my priority... If it's not safe, it's not going on my truck. Saw a competitors tilt tray heading that way an hour or so later, hopefully they also made a wise call.... Then this afternoon, just a little pickup of a damaged vehicle.. A quiet hour or so, checking the truck out, and doing some preventative maintenance...

15.01.2022 Working on a public holiday (in Qld).. moved a project car this morning, picked up an accident damaged car early this afternoon, followed by a local tow for another project car.. Not bad for having nothing planned at 6 am.... Sorry, due to customer privacy request, no photos of project cars today...but an awesome looking one tonner was one of them.

11.01.2022 Just another happy day in paradise, moving a caravan, and a LandCruiser, plus a couple of breakdowns.. followed by some family time with my boy.... Life doesn't get much better.

09.01.2022 Something totally different today, don't even know that you could call it a tow truck job. Hoist being installed in a garage, so how do you stand the posts up? Run the winch cable over the roof truss and gently winch it up... Customer had no block and tackle, so improvisation was the name of the game today.

07.01.2022 I thought moving a lounge on the tilt tray was strange, but a request to move a trampoline frame.. no net, just the frame.. but come to think of it, how would you move a fully assembled trampoline.

07.01.2022 Got a call this morning, "Can you pick up my car, one wheel jammed to the right, other one points straight ahead". Ball joint pulled out of lower control arm.. definitely not going anywhere in a hurry. We got it on, and to the repair shop... another happy customer.

06.01.2022 Been a typical few weeks since I last posted here, usual breakdowns, moving cars around, picking up a few wrecks for scrap, just the usual run of the mill jobs. Until this morning, got a call to pick up a car at River Heads, no problems, in the truck and off I go.. Well, have a look at this mercedes AMG, awesome little convertible. Flat tyre, no spare, they don't come with one, just a compressor to pump it up. Put it on the back and took it to the ladies home, put it in the g...arage, and took the tyre off. Sidewall damage on the inside, deflated tyre, and because it was a run flat tyre, worn the inner edge to the metal. Customer is happy the car is home, knows what the issue is, and going to chase up some new, not run flat, tyres on Monday.. We do all cars, from your $100 dollar paddock basher to your $100 000 plus pride and joy.

After many drama's with Facebook thinking I was not a Legitimate Business, even after supplying business name registration 3 times, finally I'm allowed to keep my Facebook page, but not allowed to keep my existing contacts. I will be trying to contact as many previous friends as I can, and getting you to "re-like", if that's a word, my page

04.01.2022 Signage put on my truck yesterday, looks awesome, stage 1 done, more to come soon. Already had two jobs from it, one yesterday and one today, plus a couple of enquiries. Many thanks to Penelope Russell signs out at Nerada road. Whole process was quick and easy, less than two weeks wait, only because I was being difficult and had to have the reflective blue.... Had a few days delay getting it in for me .

02.01.2022 Picked up this old car a few weeks ago, being relocated due to house sale, if it's your toy, it's our pleasure to move it safely and securely. We love our old classic cars, they don't make them like this anymore..

01.01.2022 Busy couple of weeks, therefore no posts, a few different jobs though, just to keep things interesting. Picked up a little bit of firewood on Saturday, followed by a car for someone who has just got her "L" s, and yesterday moved two, yes TWO, tractors, normally I move one every few months, two in one day is a little bit unusual. No photos of the tractor, but a few of the firewood, and the Barina. We'll move pretty much anything, from a box trailer, (last Thursday), to a boa...t, later this week, caravans, we'll even come to your broken down car, put it on the back and take you and your family home, and you can use our complimentary wi-fi, and charge you device at the same time.
