22.01.2022 Reading is highly valued at Hillcrest Primary School. This week some of our teachers have been visiting classrooms to observe what a good reading lesson looks like. Mr Hortle and Mr Fenn modelled the structure of Guided Reading, a small-group instructional approach used to support students to practise reading skills and strategies in order to gain meaning from text.
