20.01.2022 Inviting all old scholars along to a great cause tomorrow as one of our current Cycle 4 students hosts a morning brunch of coffee, tea and cake at our Middle School campus at Wairoa (142 Mt Barker Rd, Stirling) from 8.15am-9am. The cost is $10 with all funds raised going to the Cancer Council. The tea will be brewed to perfection, the coffee will be strong and the cake delicious! If you're free first thing tomorrow morning, then we'd love to see you.

19.01.2022 The Stirling Christmas Pageant is this Sunday 18 November and The Hills Montessori School is once again participating! Head along for a fantastic day out, the pageant kicks off at 11am.

17.01.2022 1997! It was a big year particularly for sport in South Australia with Port Adelaide entering the AFL and the Crows winning the Grand Final. 17.01.2022 Special thank you to Denise Connelly who is meticulously sorting through 40 years of photos for our Old Scholar event on June 2. Denise retired last year after 27 years teaching at The Hills Montessori School, however we cannot quite let her go and keep finding huge jobs for her to do! Thanks Denise.

15.01.2022 Inviting all Old Scholars to the Wairoa Spring Cafe tomorrow! It will be the last Wairoa Cafe for 2019 so head along for freshly brewed coffee, tea, homemade cakes and a chat, from 9.15am. Everyone is welcome including bubs and toddlers. If you've not attended before, the Wairoa Cafe is run by our middle school students (Years 7-10) at the campus in Stirling, 142 Mt Barker Rd. 14.01.2022 Vale Kim Thompson 4/1/1958 13/12/2019 It is with much sadness that we grieve the loss of our long standing staff member Kim Thompson. Kim has been part of ou...r school since the early days, as a teacher at our first campus at Nairne and more recently working in our OSHC and Vacation Care program at Yultiwirra campus. Kim was a strong advocate of Montessori education and The Hills Montessori School. She has touched the lives of hundreds of our students. We are sincerely grateful for her input and friendship over many years and we will treasure the memories. Our love and thoughts are with Tim, Jemima and Mat. See more

13.01.2022 It was fantastic to see so many of our Old Scholars at last weeks Coffeehouse Cabaret which was performed by students in the Adolescent Program at the Wairoa campus. Thank you for your support, we loved seeing so many of you there!

12.01.2022 One of the best things about organising Old Scholar events, are the gems you uncover in the photo cupboard! These images from the 1980’s are some of our favourites and are a lovely reminder of our 40 year history. We can even spot some students who are now parents at the school!

11.01.2022 Congratulations to Old Scholar Jascha Boyce who is the Associate Director of Out of Chaos, a production set to premiere at the Adelaide Festival in a few weeks. Jascha attended The Hills Montessori School until 2002. She performs and directs productions for the world renowned acrobatic performance troupe Gravity and Other Myths, which she co-founded a decade ago and now employs over 20 people. Jascha spends 11 months of the year touring with the company as a full-time creator and artist, she has recently returned from France where rehearsals for Out of Chaos were in final stages ahead of the Adelaide Festival. We look forward to welcoming Jascha home for the Out of Chaos season in Adelaide!

07.01.2022 Inviting all old scholars to the Winter Wairoa Cafe! If you're in need of a double shot espresso, soothing green tea or a freshly baked cake, then come and see us at our Wairoa Winter cafe at the middle school tomorrow morning from 9.15am until 11am.

03.01.2022 It was fantastic to see so many Old Scholars on Saturday who attended our Old Scholar event to help celebrate our 40th birthday! Old Scholars who had attended our very first Preschool in Nairne (opened in 1978), our first junior primary school in Aldgate (opened 1980), the current Primary School at Yultiwirra (opened in 1988) and Middle School at Wairoa (opened in 2011) were invited to tour our Primary School campus and then join us at the Wairoa Middle School for drinks and ...nibbles. It is wonderful to see where life takes our students after they leave The Hills Montessori School, it is particularly inspiring to hear them speak of the impact the school has had on their lives. Please feel free to tag us in any photos you may have taken on the night!

02.01.2022 Students who have experienced what they consider a great teacher will often use the word inspiring. Having the opportunity to inspire and be inspired by young people is something our teachers actively seek for themselves and their students. Past and present teachers are very much looking forward to catching up with our Old Scholar community on Saturday!
