25.01.2022 Hills School of Theatre Arts Holiday Clubs! Were delighted to announce our holiday clubs for Spring Break 2020. For Students in School Years 2-4 Aesops Fables - storytelling and drama with our usual mix of games and mayhem. Monday 28/09/20 - Friday 02/10/20, ... 9:00 - 10:50am ($175.00) - all materials included - please bring a snack and water! 12 places available For Students in School Years 5 - 12 Shadow Theatre! Working in small teams you will: Choose your story; craft and build your puppets and backgrounds; record your soundtrack to computer; and bring it all together including lighting and music. Its ambitious in 10 hours (its bonkers actually) but well give it a go. Usual array of fun warm up games to be had as always! Monday 28/09/20 - Friday 02/10/20 11:30 - 1:30pm ($200.00 including all craft materials) - please bring a packed lunch and water. Only 12 places available.

20.01.2022 OMG!!! We have some v exciting developments for 2021... our classes will now include a Pre-School Ensemble as well as a Homeschool Ensemble! But that’s not all - we’ll also be welcoming a new Instructor to HSTA! More news to follow on these stories and others...!

18.01.2022 First try for our year 10-12 group applying physical theatre techniques to create an opening sequence! Really nice job - especially for a first attempt! These guys have only been together for 3 classes and are already working as an ensemble! Im so impressed with their bravery and imagination!

08.01.2022 The Hansel and Gretel Trio performing an original melody for their workshop performance of the same title. Such talented young people transcend the title of students and become collaborators. This piece is to accompany an abstract opening sequence entitled The Summoning of the Story. Great Job Guys!

03.01.2022 Oh dear... memory failure!!! Fortunately Foxy was able to remind me of the times. These classes start in Term 1 2021 on a Tuesday. Pre-School Ensemble 1 is from 9:30-9:55 and Pre-School Ensemble 2 from 10:05 - 10:30. Primary Homeschool Ensemble starts at 10:40 ‘till 11:20 and Senior Homeschool Ensemble goes from 11:30-12:20. It’s gonna be a lot of fun!!!

03.01.2022 run 5 autism day 4 - just a cheeky 7km today bringing the total run this week to 32km. This morning I received a surprise 50$ donation from a local dog walker - thank you!

02.01.2022 Did you know..... our new instructor, Louisa, (as well as training as a teacher at Flinders), is fluent in German, can play piano and guitar, is a fabulous singer (and can accompany herself) and has performed in multiple Theatre and Musical Theatre roles!!! Wowsers! We feel so lucky to have her!

02.01.2022 A few of our older students will be performing their story telling pieces and musical theatre songs at the Basket Range Christmas Market. Come along and support them and this lovely school.
