15.01.2022 The green bridle wins again for Shane Nichols with Design Rouge at Pakenham. Shane wasnt a fan of the green bridle to begin with due to a colour variation. His dark green preference is no longer available. However the new green bridle seems to be bringing some luck, with many horses winning in it. Of course theres more to it than the bridle including a successful trainer and great staff behind the scenes. Well done Team Nichols!... #hilltopwinnersaregrinners #hilltopbridle

14.01.2022 A couple of winners this week in the Hilltop gear. Kurocaine for trainer Shane Nichols, ridden by Madison Lloyd at Warracknabeal and Liam Riordan, who borrowed Campbell Rawillers Hilltop breastplate and won at Mornington on One For Rocky for trainer Lenny Xuereb.

10.01.2022 A flash back to our lives before Hilltop Saddlery began. Cameron Quilty riding a winner, active and productive. After a horrible race day fall months after that win which almost put an end to his riding days and with almost 2 years out of action, Hilltop Saddlery was created at our home in our shed. The shed soon became an established workshop. Both out of work, Cameron as a jockey and myself a Jockey Agent, we tinkered with ideas and created our "Hilltop" label. Hilltop is today supported by many loyal, returning customers and new customers reaching out to us to supply them with top quality and unique looking racing gear. Cameron has since returned to the saddle, I have returned to agent duties and Hilltop is growing. Thank you to each and every customer who has supported Hilltop Saddlery.

02.01.2022 The following post is not Hilltop related, but I am hoping there might be a few of my customers who would be interested in reading. Imagine your child is suffering cancer. The oncologist tells you "There are no treatment options left", "she is incurable". This has been the reality for my sister as her daughter, my beautiful niece, has been battling a rare and aggressive form of blood cancer. Diagnosed at just 3 months old, she has suffered and endured unimaginable pain as a... result of cancer. Despite this, my niece has fought an enormous battle and defied odds.
