07.01.2022 Bert’s words as he swooped over his home at 69 Gavin St before landing on the Foundry Green 100 years ago today, the 11th of April 1921. Frances had seen him last in 1913 and here Bert was, breaking the world record for a nonstop flight from Sydney to Bundaberg.
