25.01.2022 It been a busy few weeks. From installing new blinds in Toora in South Gippsland, doing blind repairs at Karstens conference center in Melbourne’s CBD, at 6.30 am, great view of the city at that time and now some new blinds at Mt Waverley Primary School. Love the variety of my job and where it takes me.

23.01.2022 Wearing sunglasses in church might seem cool to some, but to the parishioners at St Itas Catholic Church in Drouin it had become a necessity ! While the view is lovely out those big windows the amount of glare coming in them during services was causing issues. This week we installed some screen roller blinds to help kill the glare and make things more comfortable. Screen roller blinds are such a popular blind these days for both privacy and glare reduction.

23.01.2022 Working at BIC head office this morning doing some roller Blind repairs and a quote for New roller blinds in the boardroom where all important BIC pen decisions are made! Was wondering if it would be inappropriate to take a pen from the front desk and then they gave me a BIC pack!!

22.01.2022 Installing some blinds today that are destined to travel!! Roller blinds in caravans are usually the most practical as they retract out of the way so you have full view out the windows of your holiday destination! What more could you want!

22.01.2022 Working installing some block out roller blinds in an apartment in Sth Yarra today. Great view looking out over at the Channel 10 building. I have my eyes peeled hoping to spot someone famous!

18.01.2022 The landlord of our local MP's offices decided it was time to update the window furnishings and asked us to install some new slimline Venetian blinds in the meeting room. Always great when local businesses in town support other local businesses

17.01.2022 Yesterday we installed a houselot of new blinds for a lovely family who've moved from Melbourne into the area after getting lost on the way to the Lardner market and finding themselves in a new estate being developed and loved it so much they decided to sell up and move here. They chose some very popular plantation shutters with the option of 3 light variations with the louvers. This means that the louvers on each panel are in 3 sections and the louvers can be adjusted at different angles in each section. For example you could have light coming through at the top but closed at the bottom for privacy. Such a classy look.

14.01.2022 Plantation shutters as a room divider rather than on windows create a great look to a room. We installed these in a new house recently. The rich timber colour looks amazing!

11.01.2022 Plantation shutters are such a popular window furnishing these days. These ones pictured are Australian Made. They are made from PVC and have an aluminum core inside. They are a cheaper alternative to the Basswood ones that come from China. And also manufacturing time is much quicker being made in 2-3 weeks compared to 6-8 weeks for the Basswood shutters from China.

08.01.2022 Yesterday morning we installed some dual roller binds in Newborough for some lovely people who have just finished an amazing transformation of a renovation! Thanks To Megan @Renovation Rescue fantastic crew of people have done an awesome job transforming this whole house. How amazing does this new kitchen look! The dual rollers just finish it off. Love the colour choice the customer has chosen. The dual rollers create a streamline classy look. Gone are the days of bulky drapes and lace curtains! Roller blinds are fixed to the doors at the bottom so as not to flap around when the door is open and closed. Practical and versatile.

07.01.2022 Installing some screen roller blinds today at Jacksons View Country Club in Drouin in the gym. What a great view of the pool to look at while you go for a ride or a run. No need to worry about the glare from the windows anymore.

04.01.2022 Well its been a busy couple of days of installing at Hi Tech Blinds. Ash Wouters.Yesterday we were at Marist Sion Secondary College installing some new screen roller blinds in their library. They look fantastic! Screen rollers are great to cut down heat and glare, and excellent for privacy, allowing you to look out the window while others can't see in from outside. All those teenagers better be on good behaviour, as the teachers will be watching and they won't even know it!

03.01.2022 Cellular blinds or Honeycells are a a very popular blind for those looking to save on energy costs. These blinds trap the air inside the honeycomb shaped cells which then has insulating effect helping to keep the warmth in during the winter months and the heat out in the summer. They are a very classy looking window covering. On this occasion our customer has chosen translucent fabric, but they also come in a blockout fabric.

02.01.2022 Venetians blinds are still such a practical solution for narrow windows. They offer great light variation and a nice clean line to any window. Also great for privacy while still being able to let the outside in! Installed these in a lovely new home in Drouin.

02.01.2022 Back at Jackson View Country Club this week installing screen roller blinds in their club rooms. Such a wonderful complex! The residents of Jackson View Estate are very privileged to have access to such fabulous facilities on their doorstep.

01.01.2022 Working out at Jindivick this morning installing some new roller blinds in a beautifully renovated house by Renovation Rescue The crisp white colour and clean straight lines of the roller blinds have finished off the look of the lovely new kitchen and living space. We were lucky enough not to encounter the resident tiger snake while out there!
