13.01.2022 This sweetheart totally rocked her cake smash session yesterday couldn't get enough of the cheeky grins and those bright blue eyes. She left the studio in a serious state of smashed cake and bubble bath water mess, as proof of the fun she had ;)

11.01.2022 It's that time of year again! Christmas sessions are just around the corner - with all that 2020 has thrown at us, I say bring on the festive cheer!! If you are interested in securing a session, let me know and I will send you more information :) The set up will be *very* similar to last years Christmas bed sessions, with a few minor tweaks. Perfect for regular clothes or Christmas pyjamas! Up to 5 people maximum per session. Sunday 1st and Monday 2nd November, four sessions per day only <3 first in, best dressed :)

10.01.2022 My kids aren't usually here while I'm working (because I can't trust them not to wander into the studio repeatedly lol) but yesterdays session was for a long time family friend, so my mum came here to meet the baby and watch my kids. My son was so excited that he got to see the baby this time! For the rest of the afternoon he kept talking about Baby Fletcher (though he kept forgetting his name and calling him Baby Richard haha) <3 This sweet little dude is 5 weeks old and still smaller than my daughter was at birth he was born at 37 weeks and weighed a tiny 4.6 pounds (for reference, my daughter was born at 36 weeks 5 days, and weighed 7 pounds haha)

06.01.2022 I've known Tahlia since we were 2 years old (30 years ago!), and it was such an honour to photograph her this past weekend as we await the arrival of her first child can't wait to meet the little guy! And thanks to Tahlia's mum Robyn, who came along to the shoot too (and took some behinds the scenes photos, one of which you can find on my Instagram profile - hm_butler_photography) and helped style this particular shot ;)
