23.01.2022 The "Nurturing Young Minds for their Future" program was made possible through the grant funding from Geelong Community Foundation and Golden Plains Youth. Whilst the primary purpose of this program was to teach primary students basic business skills such as planning, budgeting, team work and resilience, it also brought the community together through its chosen project of building a Community Garden. The first phase of the Meredith Community Garden was launched on the 14 Dec...ember 2020 and open to the public for all to enjoy. We will continue to expand this garden in 2021 through the delivery of the Nurturing Young Minds program in partnership with Meredith Primary School. In the meantime, please feel free to visit the garden and take what you need. The food pantry located towards the back is also fully stocked. If you are interested in helping out in the program or the garden, please inbox us.
