22.01.2022 This Hogpit Mini has a 16" diameter by 28.5" long cook chamber. The 2 stainless cook racks measure 25" by 14" making maximum use of the cook chamber. Stainless racks are easy to clean and less prone to ripping foil when wrapping. All Hogpit smokers are made and formed from 6mm plate and welds are finished off to a high quality. This build has a square fire box going for around $2200. Good size removable sear grill is standard for all Hogpit smokers as is slide out ash tray and heavy duty fire grate. 22.01.2022 Ok folks, this is our next project. Here we have a 2.6mtr x 900mm (35.5") pipe with a wall thickness of 9mm. Our mission is to maximise the cooking space within and incorporate 4 cooking levels with a generous height gap between each. When completed, this behemoth will have around 9 square metres of cooking space! That's the size of a small bedroom and enough space to feed a small army. We will be incorporating a few new innovations that will make all this possible. We are... known for continually looking at new ways to build and perfect all of our smokers and ensure customers get bang for their buck. This smoker will be built around these same principles. 14.01.2022 G'day BBQ people, hope everyone is fairing well with the effects of Cov19. We got off to a rough start this year but around April things picked up and have been going strong since. Sorry for no progress photos for the 36", it was a project I was planning to do while work was slow but that changed not long after I picked up the pipe. Below is a 40" chamber I will be building over the next month or so for my first NZ customer. It will be trailer mounted so should be a lot of fun.

11.01.2022 A belated shout out to 42 for 42. for their great work helping our returning vets from Afghanistan and working to build a memorial garden at Suncorp stadium in honour to those and their families who paid the ultimate sacrifice. It is a shame that while I was enjoying the freedoms our brave soldiers afforded me I completely missed my opportunity to help recognise their sacrifices. Lest we forget.
10.01.2022 This build ranks very high on my favorite list, the orange trailer is very close to the color of the General Lee from Dukes of Hazard which is apt considering it has a Redneck mounted to it. The trailer has a 1.4t axle with 10" electric drum brakes and 265/75 R16 Toyo tires. Custom built heavy duty tool box is made from 3mm aluminum checker plate. 06.01.2022 We have been fielding a lot of questions about fire management and maintaining a clean burn. Here’s a short video I did a while back in the HogPit Smokers Squea...ler which demonstrates how little fire you need to maintain a 250f cook. This Squealer has a 6mm thick rolled steel smoking chamber so those of you with the thinner 3-4mm offset smokers may need a slightly larger fire to maintain 250f.
