24.01.2022 A rinse after the de-shedding shampoo. Lots of hair coming out.

24.01.2022 Welcome back lovely Peaches. A bit woolly due to hospital visit and her top knot shaved off. Hooray great to have a poodle again. Here she is before and after her transformation...minus her poodle top knot. Come back again soon lovely girl.

24.01.2022 Today we had a visit from our smallest customer. This is little Sharnee who is also in her senior years. Sharnee has her hair completely scissored, she is almost too little to clip with clippers. Photos before and after her full groom. She loves to pose for the camera.

23.01.2022 Dogs with longer coats and matting. The mats begin as stringy knots. These begin to join into clumps. Eventually the whole coat is joined in one complete mat. Mats pull against your dogs skin during movement. This is painful for your dog. It is important to have your dog clipped regularly.

23.01.2022 Time to have that pre-winter clip. Or take advantage of our bath special. Your dog should be bathed every 3-4 weeks to stop dirt and dead hair building up in the coat. For our special, we bath, de shed, turbo dry, brush and condition the coat for $20 (up to medium size dogs only, approx. kelpie size). Here is beautiful Schnauzer/poodle Benji before and after his full groom.

22.01.2022 Introducing gorgeous Ruby. Our turbo dryers blow out excess hair and dry quickly. This is Ruby after her bath. It Dogs who are groomed regularly get used to the dryer.

20.01.2022 This lovely senior girl is one of our few poodles..where have all the poodles gone??? When we had our salon in Toowoomba most of the dogs were poodles. Oh well thank you Tinker for coming to see us today.

19.01.2022 Introducing Bo Bo and Lilly. These lovely Shih Tzus have what we call an Out of Town clip. With their faces short and legs shaved a little way up they are ready for the farm life, mud, grass seeds, dirt .....no problem. We recommend this clip especially during the summer months.

18.01.2022 This morning our Ruby met her name sake a beautiful shih tzu Ruby also, who came for a full groom. Here she is ready to go home.

18.01.2022 Scruffy one of our few poodles came with his mate Heidi today. Scruffy needed a full hair cut and Heidi had a tidy up.

17.01.2022 Time for that winter coat to come off. Introducing a lovely old girl Molly. After her big hair cut she is now ready for the warm weather.

16.01.2022 A very special character. George has just had his deep cleansing bath, with a whitening shampoo to give his white areas that extra brightness and blow dry. He is such a lovable personality.

16.01.2022 Levi again being fully brushed after his bath and having a lie down on the verandah when finished. He is calm and relaxed during the whole process - about two hours. It is also a pleasure for us to have dogs who are professionally groomed regularly.

15.01.2022 WINTER SPECIALS Bath, and coat de-shedding (to remove excess hair), turbo dry, coat conditioner and full brush out $20 up to medium size (kelpie etc). $30 for larger dogs (labradors etc.). Pensioner discount for full clipping and grooming reduced from $65 to $50 (if the coat is not matted).

14.01.2022 Dog grooming is not an easy skill to learn. Unlike hairdressing your client is constantly moving while you clip and scissor. Getting that nice finish takes time, practiced skill and unending patience. Wayne has been grooming professionally for just on a year. Look at Mo after he has finished, a beautiful professional job.

14.01.2022 Meggs - and her hairdressing appointment. In sequence - 1. Oh yes...needing a haircut. 2. But first in the bath for a thorough shampoo. 3. Now just having nap under the dryer. 4&5. finally all finished, ....with finesse... and ready to go home. Footnote - Meggs is 15 years old and like all our oldies gets very special treatment.

12.01.2022 And today two pure bred Shih Tzus. Noah let us take his photo before and after his hair cut, just to show you how beautiful he could be, (and only 10 months old).

12.01.2022 What a treat today, and so tiny. Three chihuahuas all in for their bath and nail trim. They are Paris, Buster and Polly. Little bundles of joy.
