24.01.2022 Never thought this would be the clinic birthday message wed be posting. Just goes to show expect the unexpected in life, then you wont be disappointed. Our clinic officially celebrates our 20th birthday today on the 25th of July. Our party ideas will have to wait for easier times. Thank you to all my wonderful team and clients who have been part of our 20 year journey. Its been great and there is more greatness to come. Now not a birthday topic but one you all mu...st be embracing healthily MASKS During this period of wearing masks you must embrace wearing them to ensure your own safety too. By this I mean, ensure that you apply your mask with the strictest hygiene measures. Wash your hands before you apply your mask. Avoid touching or refixing the position of your mask once it is on your face. Regardless of your choice of mask, change you mask frequently if you need to wear for extended periods of times. A damp, moist mask is equivalent to walkingaround with a snotty tissue pressed against your mouth and face, the perfect breeding ground, moist, warm for things that shouldnt be there. We are electing to wear cloth face masks in the clinic. With the amount of talking I do, combined with the nature of my work, Im finding it most comfortable (and safe for myself) to change the masks hourly. You can find your ideal but know it is not one snotty tissue mask all day. We want to protect others but also not make ourselves sick in the process. Personal responsibility and great hygiene is key! The role chiropractic has to play in the current climate is one of importance - bearing the load and reducing an influx of certain complaints that may have otherwise called for a visit to the local GPs, or the emergency department.... 06.01.2022 Happy 20th birthday Holden Chiropractic! It is hard to believe we have been here 20 years this month . Twenty years ago a young newly returned Kirsten Holden from England happened upon the concrete shell that is our home at 350a Hampton street, Hampton and decided this was the spot! So the adventure began . I feel privileged to have served so many of you throughout these twenty years.... We have shared the highs and lows of health, family and our lives. I have loved every year, and still feel excited to serve you all when I turn into Hampton street each morning. Looking forward to the next ...... twenty (well maybe twenty is a stretch , I would be a tad crusty by then) but looking forward to our next chapter in health together . We are relieved that we can continue supporting your health and wellbeing at such a critical time, and want to reassure you that we will be OPEN and providing the same exceptional standard of chiropractic care you are accustomed to.... Now is a good time to remind the community that our Chiropractors are primary health care practitioners with the ability to refer for x-rays and provide diagnosis, treatment and advice for a range of conditions. We are only accepting cashless payments, and will ask you to swipe your own credit card. We have reconfigured our waiting area and removed toys to allow for social distancing.
