23.01.2022 Dear Patawalonga Lake User, This e-mail is to notify you that the Patawalonga Lake will be experience lower than normal levels during Morning Low Tides Starting Wednesday 17th June 2020 until Friday 26th June 2020 (weekends excluded) due to Maintenance. The tides that may affect this operation are medium and are being monitored. It is expected that Normal Lake operations will resume on Saturday 27th June 2020.

Under 12, all classes 3km, 1 laps, no portage Under 14 and 70+, all classes 9km, 3 laps, no portages Under 16 Touring classes, Vet 60-65 international classes 15km, 5 laps, no portages U16, U18, Open and Veteran 35-55 international classes 15km, 5 laps with 4 short portages U16, U18, Open and Veteran 35-55 Skis and touring classes 15km, 5 laps, no portages Don't want to portage? All good. If your event includes portages, you can optionally elect not to. If you miss a portage, an adjustment will be made to your time. 19.01.2022 Paddle SA are looking at the LD regattas can now proceed almost as originally planned for the rest of the season and following is the list of events: 12 July - Onka Race 9 August - Trevor Gallard 30 August - West Lakes Classic (rescheduled)... 13 September - Holdfast Race If there are any changes to this, then could the clubs please let me know. Otherwise I will arrange for the dates to be posted on the PSA website on Monday. The Sprint Regattas have been finalised for this Summer with some changes to the dates that we were originally targeting, mainly due to Rowing SA dominating most weekends. We have been able to secure the following dates (also refer to the attached West Lakes Events calendar): Saturday 24th October - Regatta 1 (preceded by a Rowing SA time trial due to be completed by 9am) Saturday 7th November - Regatta 2 Sunday 22nd November - Regatta 3 Fri-Sun 11-13th December - Grand Prix 1 Saturday 30th January - Regatta 4 Sun/Mon 7/8th March - State Championships (this is the March long weekend - we originally targeted Sat/Sun, but Rowing SA have an all day event on Sat 6th)

18.01.2022 Hi All More information will follow shortly as it comes to hand, but I have just left a webinar with the Minister for Sport and the ORSR. As of midnight tonight (Monday 16/11) all organised indoor and outdoor sporting activities, including training sessions, are cancelled.... The clubrooms at the Aquatic Reserve are now in lockdown, and I strongly advise all other clubs to close their facilities immediately, until further notice. Please find this detail below. JDRF Australia or the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation are pleased to share its NEW Blue Army platform and advise we are now recruiting fun loving Aussies who love the water and enjoy supporting the community for the JDRF Blue Army Aqua... Challenge Beginning Jan 1, 2021 and concluding 31 Jan, 2021 members of your club can beat the summer heat and challenge themselves to achieve a KM target in the water sport of their choice by joining the Blue Army Aqua Challenge. Members can surf, swim, kayak, stand up paddleboard (SUP) or row and select to travel 25km, 50km or 75km over the entire month. KMs can be logged via a free Strava account or entered manually on a dedicated event and fundraising page. Will you help JDRF challenge Type 1 Diabetes and help change the lives of more than 120,000 Australians who live with type 1 diabetes (T1D) by raising funds for JDRF to help accelerate life-changing breakthroughs to cure, treat and prevent type 1 diabetes? 06.01.2022 Dear all, Please see below, this morning’s Baudin Flinders Circular. The forecast is unfavourable for racing but of equal concern to the organising committee is the lack of rain shelter and how this would impact on social distancing requirements. Unfortunately with the current weather forecast and taking into account COVID restrictions and people needing to travel, the race committee have made the decision to cancel the Baudin Flinders for tomorrow. We will discuss with other clubs the possibility of rescheduling later in the season. Looking forward to the Onka River Race on July 12th.
