21.01.2022 Some of our players participated in a training session being run by Wellington Phoenix FC this afternoon. Much fun was had!

18.01.2022 Our 15s secure a grand final spot with a win on penalty shoot out against Shellharbour. The game finished at 1-1 with Mathew Chiodi scoring. Our keeper, Josh Markovski, saved 3 to put them in the grand final. Their grand final is on Sunday at 12.30 at Unanderra Oval 1, against either University or Fernhill.

18.01.2022 U14G.1 After a convincing semi final win to beat University 4-0 with 2 goals from Mikaela Markvoski, 1 goal from Ella McIntosh and a screamer set peice from Taylah Demery, we secured a spot in the grand final to verse the undefeated Shellharbour. Our girls took it to Shellharbour right from the kick off and then the unexpected, we endured torrential rain, where we conceded 2 goals. In the second half the storm passed and we were able to play our game and got a goal back from... Chloe Micalef who hit one from outside the box. Although we never gave up and pressed in the Shellharbour goal, the clock got the better of us and the game finished 2-1. Well done to the girls for making it to the grand final!!!!

17.01.2022 Our 14 boys won their semi final against University this morning 2-1. They progress to a grand final at 3.30 at Gerringong playing Kiama.

17.01.2022 For Sunday 9th May All games at Ian McLennan are ON. The following grounds are OPEN: Fernhill, Figtree... Wollongong City Council have closed their grounds for Sunday. Inspection required for the following: Coniston JJ Kelly Contact Port Kembla if off. Please note Games will be rescheduled to the Monday of the long weekend.

16.01.2022 We will have an information day at our grounds this Saturday (30th) from 10am to noon. Registrations for the 2021 season are now open online at playfootball.com.au, registrations close at noon on Sunday February 7.

14.01.2022 Junior Clubs Weekend Update: - Wollongong City Council have advised that their fields are closed today and tomorrow. They will inspect grounds on Saturday afternoon / Sunday Morning for Sunday matches. - Kiama is closed today and tomorrow. - Highlands is closed this weekend.... - Shellharbour City Council has confirmed that Category 1, 2 and 3 grounds are closed all weekend. - Ian McLennan field 2 and 3 is closed. - Ian McLennan field 1 is OPEN all weekend. Further updates are coming. Please note For graded competition where all games are off, these will be rescheduled to the Monday of the long weekend.

09.01.2022 Our 14.3 team won their grand final!!! We were up 1-0 at half time. The boys played a strong game with our backs working hard. The final score was 3-2 with goals scored by Blake, Lucca and Jaran. Congratulations!!... A huge thanks to Rob and Franco for coaching.

09.01.2022 Our 14s and 15s had a friendly game at training tonight.

09.01.2022 Unfortunately the 15s went down in their grand final 1-0. The boys battled brilliantly in the game for the entire time. They scored a very lucky goal and then we attacked. The Port spirit was massive but the ball just didn’t want to go in. Our team had 9 new players this year and these young men gelled so well. We have a proud coach who is very disappointed for them.

09.01.2022 Our 14G.1 won their semi final this morning 4-0 against University. They progress to a grand final at 13.30 at Kooloobong this afternoon playing Shellharbour.

Played at WIN Stadium Wollongong, it was the Young Zebras day with a 2-0 victory over Picton Rangers, Brad Nash grabbing both goals. 04.01.2022 Registrations for the 2021 year are now open. Fees for 2021 are $200 and the active kids rebate voucher can be used to reduce your costs. Registration must be completed online at: https://registration.playfootball.com.au//WelcomeRegPlus.a

04.01.2022 Our competiton teams have had a successful season with 4 out of 5 teams making it to finals. A special mention goes to our 14.3 boys who finished the season as minor premiers. Our 12.3, 14G.1 and 15.1 teams all finished second or third. Finals will be held in a condensed format this year, with semi finals being held in the morning (1v4 and 2v3) and the winners playing a grand final that afternoon. Multiple clubs will be hosting finals on Sunday October 18, with a handful of games on Friday night (October 16). Details to come.
