24.01.2022 Our guest Geoff, engineer extraordinaire, visited Paradise Cottage on Brighton, Brisbane North on the weekend. Didems the poodle enjoyed a pat and some advice on tropical timber triaxial strength and torsion.

22.01.2022 Aurora loves the secure garden at Happiness Cottage in Brighton ( Brisbane North).....and being allowed inside through the doggie door. Lovely Aurora is a 3 yr old Japanese Spitz. Her mum gave us some information on her breed: There are not many seen around. I have only seen 5 in the three years we have had her. The American dog breeders do not recognise the breed. But here in Australia , they are at the show. Very good companion dog, for elderly , over friendly, loves herself, good watchdog, great with kids. Aurora you sound an all rounder..and right at home next to the Budda.

18.01.2022 Taffy the rescue cat...super affectionate and tiny...about 3 kgs..although Eatons Hill Vet Alan says he was an entire male of 10 to 12 years. Taffy is settling in at Brighton Cottages after many teeth extracted and sans baby maker bits....he is eating and padding and purring!

02.01.2022 In Paradise Cottage ( one of our Brighton cottages)..there was high drama today! Taffy the little rescue cat decides the dog toy is his. The Maltese Shitzu, Cloudie, disagrees. Taffy boxes her ears. Again.... And again. I think Taffy comes out on top..got in a few more punches than Cloudie. Cats are brave! See more
