24.01.2022 How we did today. The plan was Toowoon Bay but it was waayyy too packed! So we drove down the road to Blue Bay and pulled up to a spot right out front and plenty of space to swim and play in the sand. Such a great morning and now the kids are pretty trashed and they’ll have a good night sleep. Daylight savings - I can’t wait!

It was way too busy up here on the central coast to venture out for much else. I think every man and his dog is here. You’ll find him kicking a ball, doing flips on the trampoline or riding his bike or scooter. He is constantly asking to go to the state park or bike jumps or for a bike ride to the lookout with dad. He never stops. He’s a great helper around the house, is usually thoughtful and full of compliments. He gets excited about everything whether it’s small or big and is a great cheerleader of others. He has a positive outlook nearly all the time. He’s my little pocket rocket and he’s so excited to be 8.

06.01.2022 These will be my two favourite oils to use over the school holidays! Both in the diffuser and topically. Lavender Peace (Serenity in the US) is a beautiful blend that helps calm and relax. It’s great for creating a calm environment, soothing big emotions, getting a restful sleep and relaxing a tired stressed out body by adding to the bath or massage oil. I also like to wear it as a perfume to keep calm during the day. Balance is earthy and grounding. If you’ve been follow...ing me for a while I use this on the daily! It’s relaxing and grounding when those feelings of anxiousness or stress appear, calming when tempers flare or emotions rise - it just helps to ground me (along with a few deep breaths ) and the kids love it too.
