16.01.2022 Im about to make another batch of this laundry liquid which has lasted for months! It works really well in a hot or cold wash. The really great thing is you can add your essential oils of choice! It smells delicious, it works, its sooooo economical and the environment will love you for it too. Thought there might be a few people with extra time at home at the moment that would like to give this a try. You can find everything in the supermarket. Enjoy! ... HOME MADE LAUNDRY LIQUID One cup Lux soap flakes (or grated soap) Half cup washing soda Half cup borax 1.5 Litres water - Add above ingredients to a saucepan and heat on stove.Stir until completely dissolved then remove from heat. - Pour hot soapy mixture in to a bucket that holds at least 10L Add warm tap water until the bucket is about 3/4 full and stir. When thoroughly combined, fill bucket to the 10L mark and stir. Add in essential oils at this point that rock your world - To store laundry liquid, gather some containers. (2L plastic vinegar bottles perfect or milk containers very well washed) Pour liquid in but leave enough room at the top as you need to give them a good shake before use. Add 1/4 cup in to your front or top loader machine. Works in cold or hot wash. For a great fabric softener add essential oils in to a 2L bottle of vinegar and shake well Add 1/4 cup in your softener dispenser (Then save your empty vinegar bottles for your next batch of laundry liquid)

09.01.2022 Back to school with the munchkins this week. What do you do to make the school week easier? I like to menu plan as its just too stressful to wing it at the end of a long day. I use an app called paprika (not sponsored). You save recipes which you drop in to the menu calendar. Print or email yourself. Can also upload as a shopping list. Another life saver are meals in freezer. I do a big batch of Bolognese and freeze in portions. Just boil up pasta or your choice of vege ...noodle. While youre at it do a quick batch of mini muffins to put in the little poppets lunch boxes. They freeze fabulously, just take out as required I promise you will feel smugly satisfied with your fine self and not as stressed. Enjoy See more
