21.01.2022 Hey Brewers, I’ve just seen the weather forecast for the next 7 days. - it’s a bit scary! In order from Tues, mins of 9,8,8,8,10,15,16. If you have a temp controller, your fridge will keep your yeast fairly happy and warm. If not, move the fermenter into the house near a heat source like a fridge, lamp or hot water system. Most ale yeasts stop below 15 and at that temp are definitely sluggish and the brew is prone to bacteria build up as the yeast slows up. Remember that we a...re not sterile, just sanitised. There is always bacteria present in low numbers. Please share this advice with fellow brewers and in particular beginners you know without temp controllers. Cheers, Younga See more

17.01.2022 Hey Everyone, We are about to place our order for Wyeast. If you would like to add to the order please get back to us by 12 tomorrow. Please quote the wyeast code and if you like a second preference if the first choice isn’t available. We will ask for nothing older than 3 months.
