25.01.2022 Let the battery price war begin! An important event for those with solar power on the current measly feed-in tarriffs.

24.01.2022 This is an amazing invention. Very innovative.

23.01.2022 Isn't our government meant to govern for the people. Well, this article shows what we want as a power source. Why don't our governments then support this energy source rather than our least popular energy source?

19.01.2022 The tesla powerball has launched in Australia. For those on the current feed-in tarriffs these battery storage units are a very good option to ensure that you can use all your excess solar power. The price war will start soon as other models come into the market. It looks like a big change in solar households is coming.

17.01.2022 Sometimes you have to use humour to get the point across.

14.01.2022 Just bought some toilet paper. I've never been so excited to buy toilet paper. I got it from "Who gives a crap", made of 100% recycled post consumer waste fibres. And half of their profits goes to Wateraid to build toilets and improve sanitation in the developing world. Who gives a crap? I do!

13.01.2022 Post-production on our first ever show. Very exciting times indeed.

13.01.2022 Great example of community solar - rooftop solar on 49 houses connected together into one array.

12.01.2022 Here's the Home Green Home team working through our lunch time to develop our marketing plan. A great team!

12.01.2022 Should have been done years ago. Now's the time to make green homes good homes!

11.01.2022 Who says sustainability has to be ugly? Someone said that it looks like the aliens have landed on our roof. Maybe we need something like this.

10.01.2022 Global warming is still continuing (believe it or not) - 0.2 degrees per decade of warming and accelerating. We can't stop global warming. But we can do all we can to limit this acceleration by reducing our energy use, and we can heat-proof our homes.

10.01.2022 This is a great idea. Puts a new twist on moving house.

09.01.2022 Happy St. Patrick's day. Today, instead of dressing green, or drinking green beer, why not do something to make your house more green?

08.01.2022 I'll be giving this a go, as soon as I can work out how many litres are in a gallon and what epson salt is. I may try epsom salt instead!

05.01.2022 I'm no iphone user but I really like this idea - I think the future of energy efficiency may relate to remote control applications like this.

05.01.2022 It has been said that my house looks like the aliens have landed, with all the solar panels, solar heaters and eco flues. Maybe when our traditional panels breathe their last, t will look normal again!

04.01.2022 The Essential Services Commission (ESC), the Victorian body that determines minimum feed-in tariffs for Victorian solar owners, has recommended a 20 per cent cut to the minimum feed-in tariff price. This tariff is already ridiculously low, giving very little incentive for homeowners to ut any more than the absolute minimum amount of solar capacity on their roof. Please sign this petition to ask the Energy Minister not to reduce it any further.

02.01.2022 Here's the link to the catalyst show on battery powered homes. well worth a look.

01.01.2022 Think it's been a cold winter? Well, global warming continues relentlessly, in spite of put local short-term variations.
