23.01.2022 So much excitement this afternoon for the Honey Pots and Buzzy Bees. Whilst the children were sleeping today, the Easter Bunny hopped by to drop off some delicious treats for our wonderful children. He left some biscuits for the children to decorate like colourful Easter eggs and he left a trail for the children to follow to find the eggs he had hidden all over our playground.

23.01.2022 What a wonderful day for water play

21.01.2022 Encouraging the children to make healthier choices is paying off for these Honey Pots as they received the fruit, vegetable and water awards in their lunchboxes today, provided by Munch & Move - a health initiative from the NSW Government.

21.01.2022 It’s official. Due to the forecasted combination of high temperatures, strong winds and low humidity on Tuesday the NSW Rural Fire Service have declared a fire... danger rating of Catastrophic. If a fire starts and takes hold during Catastrophic fire danger conditions, lives and homes will be at risk. Advice for people in areas of Catastrophic fire danger include: : Avoid bush fire prone areas. A safer area may be a large town or city, shopping centres or facilities well away from bushland areas. : Schools in identified high risk areas will be closed. Schools will notify affected students. Start making arrangements now. : If you are unable to leave, identify a safe location which may be nearby, this may include a Neighbourhood Safer Place. This is the first time since new Fire Danger Ratings were introduced in 2009 that Catastrophic fire danger has been forecast for Sydney. A statewide total fire ban has been declared for all areas of NSW for all of Monday and Tuesday. More info: www.rfs.nsw.gov.au https://www.facebook.com//a.10150499693/10157411048995552

19.01.2022 Happy Fathers Day to all our wonderful dads on Sunday. Thank you for coming to spend the afternoon, enjoying our Fathers Day BBQ, playing trivia and participating in all the activities. Thank you to all of the dads who came, we understand it can be quite tough with work commitments

19.01.2022 Ripples Water Safety Program On Friday we had Jodie & Bruce the Penguin from Ripples visit the Honey Pots to talk about the importance of water safety and how dangerous water can be without an adult present. The children listened so well to a story about all the different types of water around the home that we need to be careful around and what we do if we ever need help in the water.

18.01.2022 Some rainbows and smiles today for our Buzzy Bees & Honey Pots. The educators made some cupcakes with the children this morning and for afternoon tea the children used spoons to apply the frosting and then decorate with rainbow sprinkles on their cakes. Just a fun experience for everyone to enjoy together, as you can tell, the children would agree!

05.01.2022 Happy Fathers Day to all the wonderful dads. We hope you had a great day!

05.01.2022 Thank you to all the wonderful characters who dressed up for Book Week 2019

03.01.2022 On Friday night, some of the educators at Honey Pot Preschool swapped our purple shirts for formal dresses to attend a fundraiser night for Samuel. When Samuel was born at 39 weeks via emergency caesarean he lost all oxygen to the brain and was lifeless for 7 minutes. As a result, Samuel suffered significant brain damage, resulting in him being diagnosed with Spastic Dystonic Quadriplegic Cerebral Palsy level 4, epilepsy and a long list of other medical conditions. Samuel ha...s attended Honey Pot Preschool almost a year now and we have such a wonderful bond with him and his family. It was such a privilege to spend the night at this fundraiser to support Samuel and his family on reaching their goal. Thank you! #anightforsamuel If you would like to donate https://www.sunshinebutterflies.com.au/personal-fund/samuel
