21.01.2022 This year we are celebrating 10 years since HOVC began. What a milestone! As a celebration gift, the HOVC community in Australia, is raising funds to gift every HOVC home with light by installing solar panels which will power lights both inside and outside the home. See the difference light is making for one of our senior girls. We have 166 houses and so far we have raised funds for 125 homes. 41 to go! Each package costs $170. 15.01.2022 New requirements for Boda Boda drivers: they are to sanitise the hands of their passengers, test them with a temperature gun and keep a list of the names and contact details of their passengers. 15.01.2022 Schools are still closed, so please pray for our candidate students who have not had full access to their curriculum. Plus other children who have been home now for months. You are all in our thoughts and prayers.

10.01.2022 After posting a parcel of excellent sponsor letters to their children in April, and being informed that it had finally cleared customs and was on its way ........ today it was delivered back to me! Checking on the internet, it seems that due to flight cancellations and other covid difficulties, Uganda is one of the many countries for which all international mail is suspended. So if you didn't get to write a letter and you would like to, or if you want to write another letter, post it to Marion. I'll now wait till deliveries are possible again before I post the parcel.
