12.01.2022 COVID19 - IMPORTANT UPDATES Dear Customers, Considering the situation with COVID-19 and in the interest of the wider community, we at Advantage Pharmacies want... to bring a few things to your attention: If you are feeling unwell or have cold and flu symptoms, please self-isolate. If you need to visit the pharmacy and are unable to do so, please call us or email us so we can further direct you. As of the 19/03/20, we can only dispense a month’s supply for certain prescription medications and there are also limits to over the counter medications. For further information about this, please contact the pharmacy. There are no current issues with medication supply, and we are working extremely hard to ensure your medication is available. We are encouraging our patients to use our scripts on file service as this will assist in the following ways: 1. Enabling patients to phone ahead and order their prescriptions in order to minimise the in-store wait times. 2. Enabling patients to utilise the MedAdvisor app to not only order their prescriptions but also order over the counter items, again to minimise the wait times. 3. Enabling patients to take advantage of our home delivery service We are maintaining significant hygiene practices in store such as disinfecting benches, chairs and counters every hour. You will not be required to sign prescriptions now to limit the spread of the virus We are encouraging the use of EFTPOS or credit card to reduce cash handling as another method to reduce the risk of transmission. We are also happy to take payment over the phone for those using our home delivery service.
