19.01.2022 This is what happens when the previous painter doesnt clean the roof tiles properly and then doesnt prime the tiles before painting them. Our super high pressure washer easily stripped this poorly applied coating off. 18.01.2022 I had been talking to our guys for some time about building a large capacity paint hopper for our roof spraygun because its been a challenge finding one to buy. Denver and I made a sample one from corflute that will hold 80lt of roof paint. My mate Kent reproduced it perfectly and flawlessly in aluminium and in true Hopkinson Painting style, I had to make it look factory finished, its gotta look as good as it works. Thanks to all involved as this is going to save us time and effort continually getting up and down from a roof making sure the spraygun has enough paint. They were wanting new kitchen door handles that would match their 1970s one although none could be found so after a quick clean up, some etch primer and an epoxy top coat the old handles are new again. 07.01.2022 Its all about the preparation. Like so many roofs we restore, this Colourbond roof appeared to simply be faded and dirty. Our custom high pressure washer easily removes the original coating. This roof will be re finished with the premium Dulux Roof Coating System. Every surface was painstakingly cleaned, filled, primed, undercoated and finished with multiple top coats for longevity, including the aluminium windows that needed to be recoated in a new colour to suit the overall scheme.
