21.01.2022 Today was a good day, Its been a long time coming as we have been chipping away at this prostreet hatchback. Today i bed this small block in and gave it a very strong "run-in" tune. This is a brand new donk so i have yet to lean on it, however the results speak for themselves. We have redone this car from front to back. Engine, fuel system, trans, convertor and diff centre, making it a pleasure to drive and show some awesome potential. 20.01.2022 Take note 200 series owners! This V10 twin turbo sleeper will most likely blow your doors off at the lights. This week Sam bought me his V10 diesel Touareg for a full custom remap. After strapping it down on the 4wd dyno, we went to work. The end result ended over 200awkws and 650nm of torque up from 166 and 550 it showed a great improvement in power, torque and drivability. Lucky for him, his gut feeling was correct, after finding and fixing some very ugly work, with some messed up clearances. It turned out a treat! - Costy built full manual 850hp t400 - Altorque 3500rpm convertor - DSK crossmember and shifter plate. - New Aeroflow ratchet shift with t/brake button... - Modified tailshaft - LS Xtreme speedo adaptor We cut, wired, programed and modified everything to work as it should. 07.01.2022 Done and dusted... Not in a good way. We finally got to look at the track. Unloaded, checked over, setup for an A to B pass. Rolled out a half decent burnout, backed up, lined up. Finger on the transbrake, sprayed some gas in to come up on 2 step, sounded strong, let go of the button and a hole lot of revs with no movement.... First pass and we unfortunately broke the trans/convertor combo. Back on the trailer. 05.01.2022 Tuning should only be 10% laptop! Pull some plugs, do some mechanical checks and stop relying on a computer. Today we finished off a car that already had a complete cam job performed by another shop. It come to us, running like a pig, blowing excessive fuel out the tailpipes and a very disappointed owner. I ran it up on dyno to see where we should start. We then began fixing vacuum leaks. oil weeps, a busted power steering pump. fixing fuel trims and smoothing a very blocky t...iming map.
