25.01.2022 A thumping 8-1 victory on Saturday for the HHFC U18SL against Turramurra Utd at Montview Oval. Our goal scorers were Pedro in the first half, then in the second half 2 to Ben Fisher with a 3rd off a corner, 2 goals to Dan Gatsi, and one each to Ben Tudor and Robbie. The win has the HHFCU18SL side on 22 points, ladder leaders for the competition. Come and support the HHFC18SL side next Saturday at Montview Oval, 8:30am against North Sydney BHS. HHFC are looking for someone to take on the role of Sponsorship/Grants Co-ordinator. The role would include securing sponsorship for the club and maintaining relationships with established sponsors. 23.01.2022 FEMALE FOOTBALL WEEK MEET THE LADIES OF HHFC: Cathy started playing football when she was in high school, as a casual kick around with other high schools and not really anything too serious. From then on, she played indoor soccer socially, joined Hornsby RSL women’s team then for Hornsby Heights WAA. After having kids she started in Women’s over 30’s at Berowra, winning the competition in 1st grade, which is still one of her most exciting achievements personally and as part... of a team. When her daughter Alannah joined Hornsby Heights and Diamond League when she was 10, and then her son Zac joined when he was 11, Cathy decided to manage Alannah’s team and coach Zac. Following in their footsteps, her youngest Cooper also plays for Hornsby Heights in U7s. In total, out of the 6 in her family, 5 play for the club! Cathy has made some amazing friends at HHFC and she is proud to say it is one of the best clubs she has ever had the pleasure of being involved in. She has thoroughly enjoyed her first year as president and looks forward to many years to come.

We are excited to announce that we will be running a competition in the lead up to the Women's World Cup which will be hosted in Australia in 2023, #ASONE2023 We are lucky enough to have current Matilda’s star & HHFC ambassador Chloe Logarzo supporting the competition with questions and prizes. Chloe is currently playing for Bristol City in the Women’s Super League in England. She has been an inspiration for many young footballers with her dedication an...d energy. On the second Sunday of each month at 6:00pm, we will be posting a video from Chloe. In the video will be a question from Chloe about herself. Do you know the answer or will you require Google? WANTED: Facilities/Grounds Helpers We are looking for new volunteers to help with the Facilities/Grounds at beautiful Montview for the 2021 season. The roles involve organising the general upkeep of the Club's physical facilities (building, grounds, playing fields). Opening and closing grounds on match days, making ground equipment available for rostered teams and monitoring the condition of equipment and facilities. 09.01.2022 Belated photo and shout out to our Junior Footballer of the Year: Abi Morgan. Abi played in both the 15A's and the G16DL this season and always has a can do attitude and listens and acts on her Coaches instructions. A tenacious player who when injured playing for the 15A's picked herself up and powered on! Fantastic strength of character, and a football player that just gets better every year. Congratulations Abi!
