21.01.2022 Just felt like re-sharing this... What have you done today to make you feel proud? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IjeHe-SfYlg

20.01.2022 Good Morning, I'm looking for someone (or a club/group) who would be interested in taking over Horse Agility Australia. After kicking off with a bang, and presenting at a couple of Equitana events, some life & health issues have held me back. As much as I want to launch back into it I know I can't.... So if you're passionate about groundwork, about agility, would like to see how big you can make horse agility in Australia... drop me a line here or by email ([email protected]) and we'll talk. Thanks, Andrew.

20.01.2022 Horse Agility taking off in Victoria!

19.01.2022 Thanks for all the entries into our photo comp. It’s great to see such a variety of fantastic obstacles and the people and horses enjoying them. Thanks for entering. We had a great response and hope to be able to run more comps in the future. The winners are: 1st Place goes to Helen Hornsby with her photo of a horse jumping into a float at liberty. 2nd Place is Evelyn Colley and Lief with her photo of Lief jumping onto a truck tyre.... 3rd Place is Kathie Cox and Beau with her photo of Beau covered from head to tail in a big scary tarp. "I like the variety of action shown in the photos, reinforcing that agility is fun for both horse and handler. The variety of obstacles goes to show how imaginative people have been with obstacles and just some of what we get up to with agility" Judges Quote.

18.01.2022 Horse Talk TV have uploaded their episode featuring Horse Agility in Australia - check it out!

08.01.2022 How is this for inspiring

08.01.2022 Horse Agility Australia is now officially incorporated as Horse Agility Australia Inc. with a new committee of management. This is an exciting new chapter to agility in Australia as we re-open memberships to the new national body, reinforce the existing groups and coaches running agility, certificate levels and competitions.

08.01.2022 After a long spell of not much activity due to many reasons, we're looking to kick off again later this year with new groups/clubs, new competitions, and new activity. Stay tuned!

07.01.2022 For our Victorian friends, Jayne is based in Yarra Junction https://www.facebook.com/naturalhorseagilitywranglerjayne

07.01.2022 Now this is not something you see everyday.

06.01.2022 Love it when established clinicians are now recommending the use of obstacles in training! =]

01.01.2022 Kerry Long ON BEHALF OF HORSE EVERYWHERE........... Owning a horse is a privilege NOT a right!!... Here's a few tips for you to consider before buying or getting a horse DONOT get a horse just because it is 'free to a good home" they are not pets!! DONOT get a horse if you don't have safe suitable accommodation to keep it in DONOT get a horse if its not suitable for your requirements - ie 16.3 otttb for a beginner rider DONOT get a horse if you are unable to keep and care for the ones you have already got - some people collect horses like others collect shoes and handbags!!! YOU DON'T NEED ANYMORE!! DONOT get a horse if you have little or no experience in caring for and educating them - (and before u all start many horses are picked up for free by people who know nothing about good nutrition or don't have a good working knowledge on how to handle and educate a horse - the result of this is a few weeks down the track u end up with badly behaved horses that are dangerous to handle or ride - in the majority of cases if horses are taught something correctly the first time and this is then followed up with consistency you will end up with a nice horse to own and ride DONOT get a horse if you can't afford to feed it - DONOT get a horse if you can't afford the farrier on a regular basis DONOT get a horse I you can't afford proper veterinary treatment when it gets sick - and believe me horses do get sick!!! DONOT get a horse if once the novelty wears off and you can't be bothered with it anymore you then think you can pass on your now 'problem horse' to someone else simply because you threaten to "dog" it if its not "sold" in 48 hours!!! So with all that said I'm sorry if this offends or upsets but I'm sick and tired or irresponsible horse ownership (often clearly advertised on this page) - at the end of the day it's the horse that suffers and they have no voice of their own !!!
