21.01.2022 If every time you put a halter or any equipment on your horse you are training them good, bad or indifferent then should you not use equipment that assists training and is not anti training??? Take time to think of the pros and cons of available halters and lead ropes, or any gear for that matter, and choose your gear for its training assistance value first and every other reason a distant second. If you are unsure seek professional advice, not sales assistant's advice.

Also in response to several of my clients requests, we will be able run a few more clinics, small group sessions and one on one lessons. These clinics are for small groups with the emphasis on improving your horse and knowledge base. The clinic below can be modified to cover any topics of interest. For novice to experienced Handlers, Saturday 10:00Am Start. 20 Bell Court, Strathalbyn Improve your horse from foundation basics, groundwork, manners and personal space, through to achieving a soft supple responsive ride. Some of the things I will be looking to cover in these sessions will include, but not be limited to, the following: Learn how our horses think and why they do things, and be able to use this knowledge to train and educate your horses in a way that is easy for them to understand. Learn methods that will teach your horse to avoid conflict, be willing, be able to deal with pressure and look to do the right thing when cued. Learn how your confidence directly affects your horses confidence and methods to be able to overcome confidence issues for you and your horse. We are running the first one on Saturday the 28th February and have a few more spots available. Further dates will be confirmed later.
