25.01.2022 After many months last year of not having Kidzone our children's after school program for grades 2-6 we are excitedly preparing for it's recommencement on Wed 10th Feb at 3.45-5.15pm so we look forward to catching up with our regular kids but if there are any new kids that would like to come you are more than welcome! Spread the word!

24.01.2022 We had lunch together today to thank Mike our court chaplain and Mark our thrift shop assistant for the years of service as they are both finishing up. We pray God’s richest blessings over them both for the future!

23.01.2022 Home League is also another group restarting post covid on Thursday 11th Feb at 2pm! This is a group for women who may be lonely or needing to socialise and make new friends in 2021 we do all sorts of things from eating yummy food to sharing recipes and gardening tips to singing songs and encouraging one another. So if this sounds like a group for you feel free to come along or speak to Capt Tracy on 53821770 for more info or questions.

21.01.2022 Reminder everyone this bin at our Lynott st thrift shop is open everyday Monday to Friday 9am to 3pm and Saturday 9am to 12pm to receive your donations contactless drop off so whilst your in lockdown why not go through all your stuff that you might not need anymore and drop into our bin!

19.01.2022 Tomorrow is R U OK day and it is a timely reminder during this covid19 pandemic and lockdown to not just ask R U Ok but to also say "what can I do right now to support you?" lets check in on each other and show each other support. Its ok to not be ok support is available through Lifeline 13 11 14 or Beyond Blue 1300 22 46 36 reach out if you are struggling with your mental health. Capt Chris & Tracy Sutton are always available to talk with anyone who may be struggling we arent counselors but can offer a listen ear.

19.01.2022 Women's Fellowship coming up next month Saturday 13th Feb we are going to The Wander Inn in Wartook Valley you are invited to come along either meet at Wartook at 12pm or speak to Capt Tracy if you would like a pick up on the bus 53821770 it is a friendly group of ladies that go out somewhere each month and this is the first one post covid so if there are any ladies who would like to make new friends in 2021 you are more than welcome to come along!

19.01.2022 Thrift Shop Update: Our shop is currently overloaded with donations so our bins are closed and will remain that way until we can get on top of all the donations. So please be patient with us we are working very hard to get on top of it all. If you can please hold onto your donations hopefully in the next couple of months we can reopen our bins. If you would like to volunteer we are desperately looking for more people to sort donations out the back!

18.01.2022 Yesterday we had some work done on the church which included getting 2 skylights put in this very dark hallway. Should have taken a before photo but anyone who has tried to walk down this hallway during the day will know how amazing this is! God said let there be light

14.01.2022 Teddy bears picnic in the shop! Very cute teepee has come into the shop on sale for $6 and we have heaps of cute teddy bears so come on in and check them out and make a little kids day!

13.01.2022 Thrift shop update: We are working hard behind the scenes to get everything ready so we can safely reopen our store. We dont have an official date as yet but will be seeking the approval this week from our divisional commander so watch this space for news later in the week for a reopening date! Exciting times ahead!

Friday 27th Nov 7pm we are having a pizza party and watching the Summer Carnival Event with music etc so come along and bring a friend please let Capt Tracy know if your interested in coming with a limit of 20 people in our building I need to know numbers. 07.01.2022 COVID-19 update: - Due to new stage 3 restrictions we will no longer be able to have zoom worship and will recommence church in a bag and our kids bag drop offs. - please note our thrift shop will REMAIN OPEN at this stage with hourly cleaning, hand sanitiser and face masks worn to protect both our volunteers and customers. New opening hours: 10am to 3pm Monday to Friday and 9am to 12pm Saturday We will be accept donations between 10am to 12pm Monday to Saturday so please only come in these allocated hours. 03.01.2022 A big thank you to all who have donated to our red shield appeal so far. We have not only reached our goal of $5000 but have gone further and our current total is just over $6000. A shout out to some of the groups who have made donations including horsham lions, horsham east rotary club, edenhope lions and horsham and stawell toyota and kia who have promoted our page. If you would still like to give you have until the end of june.
