17.01.2022 I can't believe it's been so long! But, at last, our Random Songs in Random Places continues with more from my trip to WA in late 2018. And this one is a very special random place - in fact it's not random at all, I've been planning to visit the Principality of Hutt River ever since reading about it as a teenager. 14.01.2022 It's been an intense 2019 here at the House of Andersen - relocating, recording heaps, building a new home... we've been a bit quiet on the public front while keeping the home fires (and pyres) burning... 13.01.2022 25 years ago I joined a gospel choir at La Trobe Uni. One of the pieces I was given was a photocopy of a photocopy of a photocopy of a photocopy of a photocopy of a hand-written arrangement of Amazing Grace, by this man, Tony Backhouse. Since then I've come to realise what a living legend Tony is - and it turns out he might be able to come to Castlemaine on Wed 17th March to deliver one of his renowned Gospel workshops! I'm so proud to be able to host this in my home town :D

The Zero Point is aching to rise from the smouldering ashes of their winter hibernation like a phoenix... into the steadily rising air of an Australian spring. River?.....Phoenix? RIVER PHOENIX!? And just like our young avatar of 80's style here, The Zero Point are eager to bust a move, get jiggy wit it and lay down some fresh dance rock this Saturday at The American Hotel Echuca. 10pm till late and it's free! That's almost criminal..a smooth criminal;)
