19.01.2022 Great to have former Hawks legend Marek Madle at training last night. Marek played and worked with the Hawks between 2015 and 2018 before he moved on to greener pastures to the Lions FC and Peninsula Power FC where he is now in a fight for the NPL premiership. Marek now works with club supporter Optimum Consulting and it is great to see him still have a connection with cub. Thanks again Marek and Optimum for their support. #hawkiesloyal

17.01.2022 PLAYER ANNOUNCEMENT Holland Park Hawks are very happy to announce another major resigning and to welcome back Oohyun Park for another season. Parkie, was the Players Player this year which was no surprise as he is one of the hardest working players on the pitch and leads by example through his excellent technical skills. He made his first team debut in 2018 at only 17 after returning to Australia from playing in England at Stoke City and has been a regular ever since. He ...is a fan favourite and It’s always very exciting to see him play with his passion and commitment always on display. We have no doubt he will be amongst the votes again next season and look forward to seeing him play his 4th season at Holland Park. Parkie ‘s comments were I’m proud to play for Hawks again in 2021, as there is clear drive from the Club, Danny, and the Lads to push on further next year and achieve success in the upcoming season! Head Coach Danny Gnjidic, is expecting another stellar performance from Parkie again next season. Stay tuned for more exciting news on other players that will return for 2021!

15.01.2022 Slabs are completed and drying out in the sunshine. Our Grant's Team, Maria O'Neill and Mel Cox have submitted an application for funding to Cancer Council Queensland SunSmart Shade Creation Initiative to replace our old and worn shades with a permanent and totally UV protective shade over the grandstands. These grants are always over-subscribed multiple times over and are hence very hard to come by so keep your fingers crossed. These upgrades from part of our 2020-2023 3 Year Infrastructure Strategy including new fencing (for which we have applied for a grant) and access to extra field space amongst other plans.

15.01.2022 Thank you to all the players who joined us for our holiday Intensity Clinic!

11.01.2022 A big thank you to our Groundsman, Rob Watkins for doing an amazing job levelling and making Field 2 playable after Wednesday night's damage. You are a magician. A big shout out also to Brisbane City Council namely Brent and Brendan for helping fix some of our damaged bollards. Amazing work guys. And we really appreciate the support we have received from everyone including BCC Sports and Rec Officer, John McKay.... Rob has informed me that tire-burn will mean that whilst the fields look amazing in the photos now, the grass will die completely and will not grow back. He says they are irreparably damaged and the field will need to be fully re-turfed in the off-season. We have reported the damage to the police and to our insurance company.

11.01.2022 We will miss those weeds (not!). Grandstand slabs under construction thanks to Joe and the team from Versatile Concrete & Landscape, a local business based in Cannon Hill and the Queensland Government Active Restart Infrastructure Recovery Fund. Thanks, as always to Gary Weir for overseeing the works on behalf of the club.

11.01.2022 Thanks very much to the drivers of the car who decided to have fun doing donuts on Field 2 last night causing massive damage. As you can imagine our groundsman, Rob is gutted having spent many hours keeping them in the best condition he could under COVID and intense post-COVID training/games. Rob will work hard to level and make safe the surface for our players. Cross your fingers that our recent grant application to the Gambling Community Benefit Fund Queensland for new fen...cing around field 1 and a fence around field 2 is approved. We will work with the team at Brisbane City Council to see how we can minimise a hit to our budget to get the fields re-turfed in the off-season for 2021.

10.01.2022 PLAYER ANNOUNCEMENT Holland Park Hawks are very happy to announce another major resigning and welcome back Ben Mandall for another season. Ben is one of our brilliant young guns, making his first team debut at just 16. Testament to his commitment and ability was that he was a very close runner up as the Players Player last season.... The quietly spoken and extremely polite young man who is wise beyond his years is also a very talented footballer and a huge asset to have around. We look forward to seeing him play his 3rd season at Holland Park which will see him start the year at only nineteen years old Ben’s comments on his return was I’m very excited to come back and be part of the big plans Danny and the Club have for 2021. I’m really looking forward to the season ahead and working alongside the lads for an incredible year of football. Let’s go Hawkies! Stay tuned for more exciting news on other players signing for 2021

05.01.2022 PLAYER ANNOUNCEMENT Holland Park Hawks are very happy to announce another major resigning and to welcome back Kyle Lorensen for another season. Kyle who has size and speed to burn is a powerful defender and a very talented footballer. Sadly, Kyle missed most of last season through injury, although that didn’t stop him from playing a major leadership role in the team. His passion and commitment were always on show and Kyle was there at every game to encourage and motivate ...the team. Kyle said on his return I’m excited to be resigning with Hawks for my 3rd year. I believe the Club and the Team is on the right direction. I’m excited to get back on the pitch after a hard season with injuries. Looking forward to achieving great things with the lads, Danny and the coaching staff for the 2021 season. Kyle has been working extremely hard on his rehab and looks fitter and stronger than ever. We have no doubt he will be a standout performer and look forward to seeing him play his 3rd season at Holland Park the 2021 season. Stay tuned for more exciting news on other players signing for 2021!

02.01.2022 PLAYER ANNOUNCEMENT Holland Park Hawks are in safe hands with the major resigning of the man with the Golden Gloves, Luka Zoric for next season. Luka, a brilliant and highly talented goalkeeper had a standout season in 2020 and also made the FQPL Team of the Week on many occasions. It would be no surprise to anyone that knows him or has seen him play, that he was the Hawks MVP for last season.... The dynamic shot stopper who seems to defy gravity is loved by all at the Club. His passion and commitment to the sport and the Team is always on display in every game. Luka who is a highly dedicated and hardworking young man is an integral part of the team and his leadership both on and off the field was inspirational for the team and the Club. Luka’s said on his return The Club has big plans for next year and I want to be a part of that. I would love to continue working with Kevin, Danny and the rest of the coaching staff every week. I look forward to new challenges and buzzing to get out there and give it my best. We are so excited to have Luka back and look forward to seeing him show again why he is absolutely one of the best in the League. Stay tuned for more exciting news on other players signing for 2021!

01.01.2022 A big shout out to Bill Ziogos. Bill is one of our U6 coaches and is always seen on the park with a smile on his face. Bill is also an experienced referee and has been helping out on the weekends, including yesterday. Here is what we received from an U10 Brisbane Strikers parent (Nicola): "Can you please pass on our heartfelt thanks to the amazing referee yesterday. He was beyond amazing. His encouragement and enthusiasm were contagious. His feedback will stay with me as a mum and my son as a player for a very long time. He was nothing less than inspirational. He was fair and unwaveringly professional, he did not stop smiling. It is exactly what sport should look like. My son gave him 10 stars out of 5! It was amazing - thank you." We love you Bill!

01.01.2022 More positive feedback from Rhys S, a parent of one of our Saturday morning Mini roos. Thanks Rhys! Hi All. Just wanted to drop a note to say how impressed I have been with the way that you have gone about the Miniroos program. The way it has been run has been super professional and most importantly the kids are having a great time. What impresses me the most is how awesome the coaches are. They seem like really great kids, and give you confidence that the club is focused on developing not only good footballers, but good people as well. Will have no hesitation bringing my daughter back to the club and becoming a 'Hawk'. Keep up the good work.
