22.01.2022 Not much can be said that hasn’t already about this amazing gentleman!!

21.01.2022 The last of David Jenkins' pics for today is Peter Turnbull in a car he built and raced since 1978. Back then it was powered by a Holden 202 turbo but these days the turbo has been removed. So many cars just build in the back shed in that era. Kept motor racing affordable as the expectation wasn't to be professional, just fast!

21.01.2022 Along with these groups listed below, ProSports are running so GrpS may like to come and play too. Groups, OPQR Sports and Racing, plenty of spots for you to join the fun as well.

19.01.2022 The next car that we will see gracing the track at Autumn Historic Warwick is the ex-Peter Williamson Chickadee Celica, now owned and driven by Peter Woods. Ori...ginally a 1978 RA40 Toyota Celica LT2000, the car was imported into Australia in January 1979 by Peter Williamson for competition purposes. The Celica was then upgraded by Peter to GT 2000 specifications (including twin Weber carburettors), after which it was further modified to meet Australian Group C Touring Car Regulations. In 1981 the Celica was updated by Graeme Bailey to 1981 model specifications and converted to fuel injection. Today, the Celica is presented in the same specifications and livery as raced at Bathurst in the 1982 James Hardie 1000.

11.01.2022 Despite the uncertainty surrounding the virus, we had a reasonable Formula Ford field at Wakefield with 11 still competing. Bruce is showing a bit of the turn left to go right with Bill close behind.

09.01.2022 At Circuit Ancienne Reims-Gueux in 2016 for 60th Anniversary of Jack winning his first race in his RB, we had 3 Aussie Brabhams- Tim Kuchel BT-18, Peter Barclay... BT-15, me in BT-21 plus a German friend. Denny had won there in 1963 in a BT-6 FJ (recently owned by Ed Holly). The gent with the French flag was the starter in 1966 who waved the chequer for Jack...And we did drive the length of that straight at speed... See more

07.01.2022 No better time than now to get those unfinished jobs done! Here we have the work on Keith's car well under way. It'll be an awesome car to have running at our events when done. So much intricate engineering to be done! The first pic is as it ran in its hay day.

07.01.2022 Over the next couple of weeks, we’ll be introducing come of the competitors who will be running at Autumn Historic Warwick, May 8-9. A car who many will recogni...se! Introducing Terry Lawlor and his ex-Bob Morris XD Falcon Originally built in 1980 for Bob Morris and Bill O’Brien qualifying 6th at Bathurst. It was agreed at that race to allow Allan Moffat to take over driving duties should his car retire which it did. In any case, the Channel 7/ Breville car retired with a blown engine. It was also this year that it was the first Channel 7 in car video with driver commentary of which Bob Morris dropped a few expletives live on air when passing a slower car. The car currently runs in early 1981 livery before it changed to the blue Everlast colours that Bill O’Brien ran it until 1984. Recently restored and honed by owner/driver Terry Lawlor with Brad Tilley Racing preparing it, it has enjoyed recent Group C race wins at Phillip Island, Sandown and Bathurst with a new lap record there.

04.01.2022 Our sport is supported by so many dedicated officials. Rodney is certainly amongst them and a very deserved winner of this award! Thank you to all the officials who help our events happen!
