16.01.2022 Hubby forgot his veil today & had to use his backup one, as you can see the girl's didn't like it! All the little dotts you can see are stingers... So glad I decided to stay home. ***We are currently requeening a few hives thoughout our apairy sites due to aggressive behaviour. We requeen any aggressive hives so that they are more pleasent to work with. Our hives are generally requeen 12-24 months for maximising productivity***

14.01.2022 It's only taken 3 year's but I'm finally happy with the front deck! All my beautiful succulents/plants in one place! And a shoe rack! I Have wanted hubby to make me something out of our old "unusable" bee boxes since FOREVER! The photo really doesn't do it justice! Now we just need to decide on a front fence...!

09.01.2022 With hubby still not 100 per cent after his surgery, it was a family effort this morning when we rescued this beautiful swarm from Lutwyche! Thanks for calling us guy's! **EDIT** You win some you lose some! These girl's decided they didn't like the hive we provided them so off they went...

07.01.2022 Everyone has their own job to do! Levi's job today was to puff "a little" puff of smoke in the front of the hives to calm the girl's & let them know we are coming... Obviously he was fired!

05.01.2022 Local bee removal this morning! This colony has been going stong for the past 2 year's but the home owner is moving so the bees had to move too!
