08.01.2022 I’ve been involved in community organisations like sports clubs all my life. Before lockdown I was still playing basketball with Collingwood All Stars Basketball and AFL with Fitzroy Football Club and grew up playing with Fitzroy Junior Football Club. I am an active volunteer with a range of community organisations and there are some great ones in Darebin like Jika Jika and Bridge Darebin. If elected I will be working to make sure we have: Greater funding clarity and support ...so community organisations like sports clubs can build facilities that encourage female and all ability participation Ensure there are targeted safe, appropriate services and spaces for the diverse residents of Darebin. Clubs like Parkside Junior Football Club Parkside Netball Northcote Junior Football Club Holy Trinity Cricket Club and all the clubs that operate out of the Northcote Aquatic and Recreation Centre are so important to our community and we need to support them.
