25.01.2022 Good morning everyone just updating where I am at the moment with the lock down, even though various places are now allowed to be restarted not much has been referred to about my line of business, so I will to carry on as I have been for the past couple of months. Meaning that I still won't be removing seats from vehicles or crawling around inside cars removing Head Liner boards all of that will still need to be done by the owner. The Essential Services have been removing the items that require work and sanitising them before bringing the items over, so as for the general public that is what I am asking you all to do, if it is for a complete re trim then we can talk about it as the seats are generally not in use if the cars are in for a complete re spray......anyway that is something we can talk about if required. 25.01.2022 Good morning everyone just saying "Hi hope everyone is okay" I'm semi open for business with the Public now BUT only work that has already been removed from cars, retrims are starting to flow back in along with bucket seats. So if that is what you are requiring to be repaired, please call me and we can arrange times. 23.01.2022 Hughes Auto Trimmer wish to thank everyone that has supported my business this year, I will be closing on Thursday the 19th December (it was Fri 20th but NOT working on 40+temp.day) till the 21st January 2020. It's been a long year so one extra day is my bonus gift to me. Merry Christmas to all and have a wonderful Safe and Happy Holiday/New Year.

19.01.2022 Morning everyone this is for my customers and the general public, as with most business in our community, I have also had to close my business down for however long it takes to have this virus under control. Thankfully I can still do work for Essential Services so at least I have something coming in. To the Public that I have had to turn away, it's painful NOT to be able to take on this work, please understand that the virus still lingers in your cars, on your seats, door ha...ndles almost in every nook of your car, and short of your car having a full detail with chemicals required, I am NOT prepared to risk my health and that of my Family, for a couple of hundred dollars. In all respect, to everyone, this is the only way that we as a community can survive this. Stay safe and take time to look at the larger picture. We are all in a Loose, loose win, win position.... We loose out Financially we loose out on the way we have always lived, we loose with our sanity and not being in control of the way we live, BUT WE WIN AT THE END OF THIS by saving not only our Families lives but the community as well. 17.01.2022 Ben or Mark Finnigan or anyone knowing them can you please ask them to call me regarding Holden seats that have been completed in my shed since 2015. The contact numbers I have no longer connected. To whom it may concern the seats mentioned above if not collected within 14 days will be GIVEN to Friends Auto Wreckers to dispose of as they wish.... You have had ample time to collect said seats and I am NO LONGER storing them in my business.

13.01.2022 The sun is actually shining, so I decided to come in for a coffee and to check my emails, which takes me to Facebook....Yes I'm heading for retirement, yes I'm in that age group that most people are trying to protect from covid-19, and I read and listen to the extremely selfish people who are up their own backsides, preaching to Police, Bunnings, Major Shopping centers" THAT THEY KNOW THEIR RIGHTS and don't have to wear a mask " You know what you pieces of garbage, I want to retire, I want to holiday in sunny Queensland and look out over the ocean sipping on a nice cold beer, I want to REACH 80 years of age... For f### sakes wear a freaking mask and get over yourselves. Now I'll take my coffee and go out and sit in the sun and try to calm down.

Please call during business hours if you have any inquires. Hopefully all work that is currently in my work shop will be completed as materials have been order from Melbourne this morning. Once again I ask my customers new and old to respect the notices on the entrance to my home and business, no one will have access to my workshop unless I ask you in. Please stay safe and wear a mask

If you want to pre book work in drop a line and I will reply, BUT I'm NOT answering the phone. My work load of last year along with my age is taking a toll on my health, so extended break was my decision, please note this.

05.01.2022 Okay confusion is the rule for today.....From what I can gather I am open BUT only for essential services only. So for my regular customers in the trucking, heavy haulage industry, CFA I am available But if you are the general public who uses the vehicle for everyday run of the mill driving then it's NO I am not available......BUT wait there is more; if the vehicle is for someone that works in essential services and this is their primary vehicle then YES I am available Right did you all get that....so basically I am open but I'm not

05.01.2022 Hi everyone just checking in with you all, wishing you a Happy Safe Easter, hoping that you are all finding a renewed way to spend Easter with your Families, enjoying a simpler way of celebrating. A slowing of pace, time for reflection on not just the way we have lived, but what our Family/ Friends and life style really means to us. I have reflected on many things these past years (age will do that to you) and altered not only my perceptions on the way I did things BUT especially how I saw other people, that I came into contact with, I now see the rest of the world doing exactly the same thing. Hopefully this will be something that will inspire the world to take note of where we have all been, and were going, to change mindsets/beliefs acknowledging just how small and vulnerable we really are. To all of you stay safe

01.01.2022 Morning everyone, hope you are all well and coping with life as it is now. I have had many inquiries about when I will be returning back to work and with everyone else, I have no bloody idea, BUT on saying that I am starting to take on the odd job where the customers have removed their seats or head linings and then re install them, themselves. So if this is something you can do and require this type of work let me know and we can go on from there. As with the full retrims, i...f we have spoken about them before and you are still happy with the choice of materials you saw, we can also start to sort out times and getting them here, just remember (it isn't classed as essential services, so be aware when moving about), BUT I STILL WANT all seats sprayed/disinfected before coming here, as I now have my Family living back home here with little kids.
