It's been a while since we've posted on the socials... we haven't been slacking off, just taking some time out with the family over Summer to regroup after the shit show that was 2020! We've been back shooting for the past few months and absolutely loved meeting all our beautiful families again and creating wall art for them to enjoy for many years to come. 18.01.2022 As most of you already know, we were in Mallacoota with our family and friends over summer when the bush fires hit. Luckily we managed to evacuate before the roads were closed, but it was a hugely scary time. Mallacoota is a very special place for me and holds so many beautiful memories of childhood camping trips, so it was especially heart-wrenching to see the town threatened and large parts of the bush destroyed. 03.01.2022 Weve been a little quiet since Christmas, unfortunately for good reason. We had planned to take 12 days off work for a family camping holiday, returning to a place that is very special to me with 5 other families. That place is Mallacoota and we only got 3 blissful days there before we made the quick and extremely tough decision to evacuate to Eden, leaving behind all our camping stuff (and the kids keep reminding us, their brand new bikes!). We were lucky and managed to ge...t out before the only road out of Mallacoota was closed. Two days later, our group evacuated from Eden too, taking a long, scary drive through the smoke to the safety of Iains mums house in Shepparton. It was an extremely emotional few days but we are all safe and just so grateful for the decisions we made and the incredible people who helped us along the way. Weve got some truly special people in this country, from those brave firefighters battling these fires to the red cross volunteers in evacuation centres and the retailers working in stores to provide food for others without knowing if their own homes are still standing. Ours is a good news story but for so many people in Mallacoota, Eden and all over our beautiful country this has been a heartbreaking, terrifying summer. Its been a tough start to 2020 and an experience we will never forget, but now were back to work with a new appreciation for whats really important, along with a new motivation to help couples and families preserve precious memories of their loved ones. Were looking forward to filling our social feeds and yours with lots of beautiful photos. Please stay safe everybody.

02.01.2022 Kristy and Tobias had just moved to Melbourne from Sweden with their two girls when we did their family portrait session at Black Rock beach late last year. Were so excited that they now have a beautiful collection of five frames to decorate their new house and celebrate their new life here.
