25.01.2022 Taking a moment to reflect on the last month. Such a tough time for so many. In these uncertain times, there has been some great examples of leadership. A great reminder of how the skills needed for great leadership have adapted over the years and will continue to adapt. This visual from Institute for the Future captures some common themes that I have been observing.

24.01.2022 Love this quote. I think of all the things that have challenged me over the years, and being able to change the lens you look for can completely change the perspective on the challenge and what you can do as a result.

23.01.2022 A great reminder that you don't need to tick every box to be the best candidate for a role. https://hbr.org//you-dont-need-to-meet-every-qualification

22.01.2022 How you view the world and the challenges you face are so important. Having a growth mindset is such a key skill particularly as we are increasingly navigating ambiguity. Practice is a key part in developing any skill including building a growth mindset.

19.01.2022 One of my favourite articles. Coaching organisations help support their teams to grow and thrive. The leader as coach is a key component for building teams where care is at it's core and people matter.

19.01.2022 There have been some decisions recently that are signalling a change in tolerance of poor behaviour at a senior level within organisations. Small drops in an ocean, but the ripples signal a positive future on a number of fronts. How we build and hardwire the new at a corporate and individual level is so important.

19.01.2022 Grit....we all face setbacks in both our professional and personal lives. How we stand back up and continue after the setback is so important.

17.01.2022 Maths homework has been a large part of our weekend this weekend, (not my favourite thing to do) and it gave me an opportunity to stop and reflect about how we take a range of things for granted. When was the last time you tried something new....something you aren't good at? The feelings this raises within us are not always comfortable but are a sign that growth is getting closer.

16.01.2022 Mindset is such a valuable element of how we view the world. An interesting article that explores research at Google regarding leadership attributes

16.01.2022 Given it is the start of volunteer week, just wanted to say thank you to all of those who donate time for others. The benefits are huge, and not just for the recipients... https://www.happify.com/hd/science-of-giving-infographic/

14.01.2022 Interesting research shows knowing your purpose leads to higher satisfaction in the workplace. (73% v 64%) I'm sure this isn't overly surprising. There has also shown to be a strong correlation between individual purpose and high performing jobs in more entrepreneurial function. Fascinating research by Imperative and look forward to more insights into a space I love to work in.

12.01.2022 Love seeing people believe in themselves and achieve things they didn't think they could! A coach works along side them every step of them way to support them.

11.01.2022 Imagine a world where there was no curiosity? Where would new ideas and innovations come from and how would individuals and workplaces grow and evolve. How do you encourage curiosity?

10.01.2022 No two careers look the same. Everyone has a different path in their career which are influenced by a number of factors both personal and professional. Reflection on what you have achieved and setting goals on what you want to achieve is important as you move through various career points, and becomes even more meaningful when you have a clear understanding of your personal purpose.

10.01.2022 A great free online course that may be of interest for some of you. https://golemanei.com/resilience/

08.01.2022 One of my favourite quotes from Brene. So many people choosing courage at the moment and looking for better ways for themselves, their families and their communities. It will be interesting to look back in a few years and see the positives that come out of the hardship and changing situation we are faced with today.

03.01.2022 Love this image and what it represents. Ikigai is a Japanese concept that focuses on the source of value in one's life - your reason for being or purpose.

01.01.2022 Resilience is a word that is getting used a lot lately. I love this image that represents the different elements that come together - a great reminder of the link between physical health, mental wellbeing and purpose. Thank to Driven for the great image
