23.01.2022 NAWA has decided to conduct another passport exercise tentatively in the month of June 2019 . However, in order to meet the costs associated with the exercise, we will need to have at least 50 applications. Hence, plsease send your expression via email to [email protected] It would be appreciated if you could please indicate in the email the names and numbers of people who will be applying. This would assist us with forward planning. The deadline for the expression of interest... is Feb 28th. The cost per passport application remains $150 for NAWA financial members and $180 for non-members .You may become a financial member of NAWA by logging on to our website www.nawa.com.au . Click on the membership tab to guide you through the registration and payment process. NAWA members will be advised sometime in March if the passport exercise will proceed should we reach the minimum number of 50. We will then liaise with the Nigerian High Commission in Canberra to arrange the dates for the passport exercise. May I reiterate here that there is NO compulsion on any Nigerian to process their passport through NAWA. You may choose to travel to Canberra to process your passport if and when necessary.
