07.01.2022 This is a Great initiative. $21 million to introduce a sports voucher program that will support up to 100,000 Victorian children with the costs of participating in sport and recreation activities. The Get Active Kids voucher program is a Victorian first and will provide $200 vouchers to help families with the cost of uniforms and equipment, as well as membership and participation fees. The program will launch early next year, with further details around eligibility criteria and how to apply to be announced in coming months.

02.01.2022 Today, Mayor of Hume City, Councillor Joseph Haweil, Member for Yuroke Ros Spence MP and the Hume Bombers Football Club got to check out the progress at the new... reserve at Kalkallo. Set to open in 2021, the 10-hectare reserve will cater for a variety of sports and other activities, and include two football/cricket ovals, a play space, tennis courts, a pavilion and car park Together with the adjacent Kalkallo Community Centre and preschool, this area is set to become a true activity hub for Kalkallo. We're proud to be delivering this project for our community in partnership with the Victorian Government.
